Effexor-Splitting Capsules Method Page 3 of 3

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Hi there. So I am pretty excited I found this site. I got prescribed Effexor 75 mg by my GP for anxiety and am now wishing I had done my research before taking it. After 5 days of not sleeping I told him I wanted off and he said I would be fine to just stop. Well.... 3 days later I was in the e. r. With an I.v. and sedatives. Who would have thought? My GP won't call me back, I am searching for a psychiatrist I can trust to help me off this. So far all the help I get is from the web. The E.R. Doc said to go back on it and slowly wean off. I'm so terrified of how I felt so I have been taking it a granule at a time. I am guessing I could go faster. I am down to taking out 10 granules and feeling great. Can I speed this up? My fear is feeling awful and I have 3 kids to care for. Also, with your technique , when u empty a capsule, do you put one dose back in ... And how do you take the rest? Thanx so much.

Bamihaza,

I can't give you an answer on your withdrawal
question. but you can go see a local homeopath
to treat your anxiety naturally.

You can also help the withdrawal by taking
Avena Sativa Q ( Q means mother tincture)
10 drops in a cup of water water 20 minutes before
meals twice a day and do this for 2 to 3 weeks.

Avena Sativa is homeopathic potency of Oats.
It strengthens the nerves and pulls drugs out of
your system. It is a very good tonic. You can order
it off this site- remedies shop or online or get it
from a homeo shop if you are in India.

Homeopathy works well with therapy if you need that.
Find a homeopath who has 5 years experience and
has done anxiety cases. You can also put your case on
here and talk about when this began, what was going
on. Fill out the form http://www.abchomeopathy.com/forum2.php/188925

Thanx for this info. Does anyone have an answer to the capsule question? I take the extended release. The question was how to take the remaining granules?

You have to wait to see if previous posters on this thread
answer you, bc only they would know. I know there
are some forums or blogs on people trying to get off
the effexor, klonopin, et al.
