pain in hip joints

I having severe pain in hip joints and unable to walk briskly and in movement. When I take pain killer I get relief for a day and then on the other day, pain is exising. Xrays reports are as under :

Lumbar lordotic curve well maintained
General decrease in bone density
Evidence of gross anterior degenerative osteophytosis
Vertebral bodies and disc space normal
Sacro-iliac joints normal
Hip joints show early degenerative oseo arthritic changes
No evidence to suggest Ankylosing Spondylitis

I have severe abdominal gas problem, which is the real curprit for causing this hip joint pain. My ESR is within normal limit.

Please prescribe some medicine for improvement of degenerative condition. I do not want temporary pain killers.

Please also prescribe me some effective medicine for gas control, as whatever I eat is converted to gas formation. I have tried lot of allupathic medicine like Nexum and white stuff.
