Pain under my heels

Hello friends,

This is my 1st post. I am having some pain in my heels. 1 of my friends said its a SPUR and has developed due to my over weight.

My height is 5'7 and weight is 80 kgs. Is weight the reason?

I visited a doctor and underwent xray. he then gave me an ointment and also asked me to use hot water for sometime.

I followed both the remedies. but it gave me little relief.

I get pain when I start walking after sitting for sometime.

I also get pain if I press my heels.. More pain is on the left heel. might be due to my walking style?

If I want to reduce my weight, I have to exercise bcos of which I might again get the pain or agrevate it..

Can anyone tell me a feasible solution that can help me to overcome this problem?

It has to be contstructive and not destructive.
