My mother is really ill.

Hello everyone, I really hope you can help me. My mother has been ill with a urine problem and she's currently at peek stress

levels, which in turn is starting to affect us all. She doesn't talk about it much really so I don't know a great deal about

exactly what the problems are but I know she's had lots of different kinds of tablets for it and non of them seem to work for more

than a week or two before the problems come back. Even with my completely non medical background, I know enough to know that so

many tablets can't be good for you. Is there anything you know of that will make her better?

Max.

It's not me that's ill, it's my mother. You'll have to forgive me for being a bit vague, I don't know alot of the answers to those questions and I'm quite sure that she'd be very un-impressed if she knew that I was writing about her on the internet. So far as I can make out, she's in pain when she passes urine.

Write the answers you know.
We need more information than what you gave in first post.

it would be better if the probable cause of the pain is known.

ciprofloxocin is an antibiotic which is administered for any kind of bacterial infection.

is it an infection? whats the nature of the pain?

could it be renal stones?

any other symptoms?

I can't tell you what to use but my mom who is 69 was suffering from a simlar problem getting a uti taking antibiotics and they always seem to come back.even after the meds were all done. i am not one for taking meds and gave her a homeopathic to take which helped a little but we talked about what changes had occured in the time she was having the uti and she had started on a new diabetic medicine her and i decided she would go off it and see what happened and sure enough she no longer has that problem. soooo check with your mom and see if there is something new she has been subscribed and have her talk to her doctor......
it is a possibility
hope she gets better soon

I've been doing my homework :D It seems that lots of online sources are saying to avoid cranberry/orange juice, red meats and also to keep alcohol to a minimum. Also lots of them are suggesting a sugar of some sort called dmannose.... Any thoughts? Or indeed any more suggestions are welcome.

Dear,

I understand your anxiety to help your mother. You have no clue other than that she is suffering from uti or some related problem.

I had been in the same situation sometime back, and I got the problem solved through 'Bangshil'. It is an Ayurvedic tablet with absolutely no side effect. It can be taken by anyone, whether he has sugar or BP or heart priblem, because it just contains only different foods we normally eat.

To tell you the actual story, read the following. In 1984, a friend of mine had a baby which was born with Blood cancer. The baby did not grow for two years and it had uti and whenever it passed urine, it was crying badly. Doctors did not care much, as they expected the baby to die any time. I told my friend to crush this tablet and pour dissolved water in its mouth. Believe me... The uti stopped within two days.

Try this. Best of luck.

OK, it had to happen sometime... Crunch time came and I finally managed to pluck up the courage I required to express my conscerns

to my mother. Seems that I'd been making a fuss about nothing. Apparently the doctor said she has an acute e-coli infection. I was

on the right track so I'm slightly pleased with myself about that, don't worry though, I'm not running for a doctorate just yet :P

Probably more so than anything, I was pleased to find out that she was thrilled that I'd been trying to get help from people like

yourselves which put me much more at ease for the rest fo the conversation.

So there ya have it, e-Coli, I hope that helps.

Great news people, I mentioned the waterfall dmannose to my mother and she seemed to think she had heared of it before from a friend but couldn't remember what it was. So Anyway, she contacts her friend to check it out and it turned out she even had some spare to give her. She's been using it for just a couple of days and she says that there's already a huge difference. Seriously, what are the chances, how on Earth had she not been using it all this time when her 'friend' had had some of it all along? Anyway, things are looking up and she seems much more cheery on the whole. Thank you so much for any input on this one, all help was really appreciated :) xXx
