Ready To Stop Breastfeeding
Hi. I am seeking advice on how to wean my baby, he is just over 1 year old. I need to leave town at the end of May and will be leaving him with his Dad. I wanted to know if there is a homeopathic remedy to dry up my milk supply quckly and efffectively.Thank you.

Who are you more concerned about -- your child or yourself? Is your child prepared to stop breastfeeding? Have you been reducing the number of feedings gradually?
Your post sounds pretty flippant about a very serious issue. You want to be sure the child is ready and not left feeling abandoned.
At least that is my opinion. I feel I didn't end breastfeeding well with my second child and I still feel badly about it.

Is it possible to tell me how I am supposed to know if my son is prepared to stop breastfeeding? And feeling abandonded? I resent that you make me sound selfish in wanting to stop breastfeeding as painlessly as possible.
I have reduced my feedings down to 3 per day. My son is using a sippy cup on a regular basis. He does not choose me over his sippy cup or vice versa. There is no preference on his part.

Remedies to dry up breastmilk: Pulsatilla, Bryonia, Lac caninum to name a few.
I suggest waiting for others with more experience to reply with their suggestions and suggestions for potency and repetition.

I too need to stop my milk supply and have purchased lac can -30 however i still pump excess to prevent engorgement - is it ok to give this milk to my baby while i'm taking lac can?
