wbc: 24500
My father is 79 years old and was having acute ge last october and his wbc was 14500.From the past few months he has been passing stools atleast two to three times a day. We had a blood test done and we found that his WBC is 24500, HB is 15 . His weight is 43 kgs, tounge is very red in colour with ulcers at times. He had an angioplast done in 2005. Has not been a diabetic or a hypertension person. Please advise. Also he has an enlarged spleen which he says is there from the age of 12. Please advise how to reduce his WBC? And will this lead to leukemia?saraswathik on 2008-03-14
