It has been 4 days but I observe no change..The funny feeling in the head remains..It is consistent. As always, the symptoms always worsen after I have lunch and i feel worst between luch and 5 P.M.
I was reading thru Rohit Bhatia's post and I could relate to each of his symptom except the chillness in the body one..Even i self motivate me often but nothing usually results from this..

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sameervermani [Log on to view profile] on 2008-04-30
Okay , then wait for 3 more days, and take 3 doses of Lycopodium 30C at 1 hour gap.

No eating/drinking/brushing for 45 mins on either side of the doses.

Report status 4 days after these 3 doses.

Sameer.

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sanjay1212 [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-01
Sameer,

Sorry for a being curious. Is Lyco suitable for me.I m overweight and do not feel chill..

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sameervermani [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-01
Does not matter. Mental indications take precedence.

Lyco is to be given when the mental indications are there whether or not you are overweight. Lyco patients are not neccassarily chilly. Not all symptoms of a remedy picture will be present in a single person. But your symptoms have to be a subset of the remedy symptoms.

Indications like being overweight or thin only hold if you have resonated to JUST one or 2 remedies for whole of your life, which is rarely the case, as most people are mis-mash of so many layers.

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sameervermani [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-06
No not so soon , wait for 1 more week atleast.

Lycopodium is a very deep medicine and seldom bears repetition.

Update me then in 1 week. We will decide then.

Today again did not feel great.. I don't know how to express my issues..Most people wouldn't min being like me but i want to feel 100%.My work requires me to be 100%.Even now there aew short durations when i feel close to 10% but these are not frequent..First 2 days after lyco were gr8 but after that the same fatigue has set in.As u suggested, will keep u posted abt my progress for a week

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sanjay1212 [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-07
corrections-it is "mind" in 2nd line not "min".it is not "aew" it is "a few".It is "close to 100%" not "close to 10%" in 3rd line. My lack of concentration causes these kind of errors.

I completely understand your symptoms. Just be patient and I will try my best.

Sameer

Think about putting him on a split dose which can be taken daily. His inital positive reaction getting tapered off quickly is an indication that he needs frequent dosing, and there is no better way than a split dose.

Hello Murthy,

Thanks for the input. I will go to LMs if needed once I have expired the C scale (maybe my next step would be 200C in water).

With C potencies, I have always had bad results with frequent dosing. I repeat them very caitiously now, even when dosed in water. The "repeat IF NEEDED" part holds much more strictly in C potencies in my experience.

Anyways, it has just been 4 days after 3 dry doses, and Lycopodium's first dose has the strongest effect in my experience. I do not want to repeat too soon, as it will do more harm than good.

Sameer.

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sameervermani [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-10
Hmm.. how would you rate your condition now , on a scale of 1 to 10 , 10 being the worst before Lycopodium..

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sanjay1212 [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-11
Sameer,
I don't feel the same way always. For eg am feeling normal now but before 2 hrs was feeling a bit weird then saw some good scenes in a movie and the mood changed positively.I never have any panic attacks just a strange sort of fog sets in often which prevents me from concentrating.I can do most things normally except reading and studying.I know it must be difficult for you to study me..I feel good whenever am out doing something fun but those moments are not too frequent. My mood doesn't remain the same..Even when am feeling gud i know that it would be over soon..My main problem is that bcoz of this fog am goin nowhere in professional life and i keep criticising myself for this..My peers are going places but am unable to take any initiative and do anything with my life though i know that am really good.I don't feel any different now to how i felt before..Sorry for not being very helpful.

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom sameervermani [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-11
Thanks Murthy, I will keep that in mind.

Sanjay, do not get disheartened. You are doing a great job in describing your symptoms. God willing, we will be able to hit the right remedy soon.

Now, before we think of any other remedy, I want you to take 1 dose of Lycopodium 200C.

2 pellets or 2 drops of Lycopodium 200C in a glass of water, and just 1 spoon from there. Throw away the rest.

Let me know in 5 days after this.

Sameer.

Re: Brain fog and AnxietyFrom gavinimurthy [Log on to view profile] on 2008-05-12
Sanjay

Whenever you are taking a single dose of any medicine it is very important that you take certain precautions before opening the vial.

If you antidote the medicine accidentally while taking itself, that creates confusion as to its effect both to you and the prescriber.

Homeopathic medicines get antidoted by strong odors. So, make sure that there are no odors on you (perfumes etc), around you (in the room, sprays, camphor fumes, moth ball smells etc), and in your mouth (the main reason for the half an hour before meals suggestion) before taking the medicine.

The three quick doses on the same day is evolved by the profession with the hope that atleast one of them will be taken under ideal conditions.

But it is not mandatory as long as you ensure that you take the remedy in ideal conditions.
