vitiligo and leucoderma are entirely different.
vitiligo has no defnite causes, but genetic history is suspected. but in leucoderma there will be a definite history. for eg; white path after burns, after contact with chemicals, or after using certain chappel.

Vitiligo is Leucoderma. Vitiligo is the normal name while Leucoderma is the name used in India. It is an Autoimmune disease, meanning that the deffence system of the body attacks some skin cells. In the case of Psoriasis is is all skin cells and in the case of Vitiligo it is only the cells that produce the skin color. One way to treat Vitiligo is with UVB Narrowband light. This light is the most powerfull light of the sun. Small amount of it 'warns' the body that these is much sunrays and as a result the skin starts to make the pigments.
