The ABC Homeopathy Forum

Need a second opinion on this combination!

So the same doctor I mentioned in my previous post has perscribed for me.
This is the first time I went to him and his method is completely different.
I am to take Ignatia 1M on empty stomach 4 pellets repeated 3 times after 15 minutes. So all together 3 times 4 pellets.
Then NEXT day I am to start taking Sepia 200 in the morning and Graphites 30 noon and night - both of these for 10 days.
I am reading here that after a large potency one is supposed to wait, but isn't the Sepia supposed to compliment the Ignatia somehow.
I got that for anger, rage, being 'stuck on an upsetting thought, not being able to put it aside', anxiety, heavy feeling in the chest etc.
The Ignatia is supposed to release some depression I carry from childhood.
The Graph. is for a skin problem.
Thanks for your opinions!

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Never go to that person again. He is not a homeopath. He doesn't even know the fundamentals of homeopathy.

Similar medicine

Single medicine

Minimum dose

are the basics of homeopathy.

Alternating medicines the way you mentioned for ten days will create more problems for you.

This is really strange, b/c he has a lot of credentials and is apparently one of the leading homeopaths in the country and all sorts of organisations regulating homeopathy etc.!
However, I never came across this kind of dosing, that's true.
Well I ended up already paying all kinds of money for the remedies and they do seem to fit in terms of symptoms, so should I just take the first one and wait - then take the others?
Disregard what he said?!

Murthy, I value your opinion and care, but why should I trust you if your profile clearly says 'I am not a qualified homeopath. I am an engineer by education, and a manager by profession.'
I had no idea that people giving advice on this forum aren't classified homeopaths and my doctor is a main personallity here in Canada trying to regulate homeopathy, so that only the ones with proffessional trainig are the ones recognised.
At this rate, anybody could be going around perscibing!

Hi Cicka

It is true that many prescribers here are not 'qualified' in the strict sense of the term.

However true homeopathy can be practiced without acquiring 'formal' qualifications.

That apart, to make things more clearer to you read this article by Dr.Luc.

He is an allopathic M.D. converted to homeopathy and world renowned doctor and author of many text books on homeopathy.

Ok Murthy, I will read that and let you know.
In the meantime, I am waiting to talk to him and ask why he chose a combination for me...
