Wife having a problem of constipation. Pls help!

Dear dOc

my wife having a problem of constipation from last week, she delivered a baby boy last month(25 days) through surgery, so less amount of walking because of the baby care(feed and all)..her age is 23.

Symptoms: constipation, hard stool, pain in the anus area.

presently i am giving some pain killers and a constipation syrup(allopathy).

Please suggest me the best medicine...and pls keep this thing in mind that she is feeding a 25 days baby...

tell me the medicine quantity(how many pills in a day)

Hi,

Start giving her Nux Vomica 30C, 3-4 drops in evening and at night before going to sleep (good sleep makes its work excellent for constipation)

Arnica 30 2-3 drops in morning and afternoon to clean bad effects and pain from surgery.

Start with these and keep in touch for further recommendation and advise.

actually the pain is in the anus area(potty area), whenever she passing the stool the pain comes...then i have to give the pain killer for that..

pls suggest the medicine or should i continue with Arnica 30C ..??

Ya,

The pain in anus area may be due to either rectal enema placement or overstretching of muscle of anus area. Arnica is always beneficial in any type of surgery and any pain which may have been arisen from surgery or over strain of muscles or tendons.

constipation problem is mostly solved, she passes potty 1-2 times a day(mor/night) and pain is also very less..

Now what's your further recommendation and advise.

Hi,

You should continue with Nux Vom 30 2-3 drop before going to bed only one dose and Change Arnica to Arnica 200 C 2-3 drops in morning one dose daily for seven days.

Post if she have any other complaints or problems.

seven days completed and the problem is solved.. 'no constipation', 'no pain' .i am giving 1 dose nux 30 and 1 dose arinca 200 as per ur prescription.

should i stop the medecine or what's your further advise.

Stop Nux and continue with Arnica 1M every third day 2-3 drops in morning for 15 days i.e. total 5 days and then 1 dose of Arnica 1M every 15 days for one month i.e. two dose in a month for one month and then Arnica 1M one dose every month for six months.

Dear Doc,

one query more, actually her(my wife) periods starts frm yesterday, during periods should i give that medicine (arnica 1m) or should i stop this.

Is there any harm ..??

i gave her 1st dose(arnica 1m) on fri(4 july) and periods starts frm sunday..(any connection)

last period end date - 19 june

Hi, Sunday & Monday off from computer as a preventive measure for side effects from computer.

Regarding your concern, It is quite usual two to three irregular menses just after delivery. It is good sign as it clears all the material inside uterus which may be harmful for body (stored during pregnancy). No real connection with Arnica. Continue next dose on 21 July.
