This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Need MUCH more symptoms and what kind of person you are and likes and dislikes. We do symptoms only. Not allopathic thinking. Yes you have a particular diagnosis, but this is too broad for homeopathy and not detailed enough. Blessings, Sabra

Hi Sabra -- Okay here it goes... I am very very outgoing.... personable.. people person! I love my job, love to go out to eat, love to go to the show, love to spend time with friends and family. I am indeed very self conscious of my looks, and always try to dress to the nines and look my best. I am a Leo, of course, born in July. My feelings do get hurt fast, as I take everything to heart. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I hope that helps you find out what kind of person I am. My friends and family always noticed my hands shaking even in high school, but I never noticed. About three years ago I started getting "sick" with unexplained symptoms. It started out with my first panic attack ever. Granted, I didn't feel stressed but with a marriage, two kids, and managing an office for an international freight forwarder was indeed stressful. Initially I started having nightmares about spiders. I was never afraid of them.. then the panic attacks started.... they put me on Xanax.. told me to use it as a crutch. As time went on more unexplainable symptoms happened to me. I've been to neurologist as I thought I had ms or parkinson's....had (2) mri's of my brain. I told the doctors I felt very light headed.. all the time.. like my head was gonna fall off.. but not dizzy....they tried to give me pills for Vertigo. I didn't take them. Then a cardiologist told me I had mitral valve prolapse. He heard a "click" in my heart beat. I wore a halter monitor to try to record the funny skipped beats or panick attacks, but of course while wearing it never happened. I've been to the Mercola Wellness Center and worked with a nutritionist and found my "ferratin" to be very low. It was an 8. Still nobody can explain to me why ferratin would be low... so I started on iron pills... to make a long story short, it's been three years of going to doctors .. no really "firm" diagnosis. A few months ago cardiologist changed his mind and thinks I don't have MVP. I bought all the books and read up and convinced myself I have. I think my tremor is a "nervous" tremor...even though I appear to be NOT ever nervous and try to hide it the best I can! I can't go out and have a drink because I am so nervous in a group of people, my hands shake like a leaf. They tried to tell me I have a chemical imbalance and put me on Paxil. I got sooo sick.. from being on Paxil only one week, that I stopped taking it. Doctor yelled at me. I never saw him again. I am a very happy person. Not depressed or any funny underlying issues. I just want the nervousness // shakiness to subside ! I have no control over it whatsoever. Sometimes out of the blue my head will tremor also... this is fairly new... just this year. I try to tell the doctors that I can actually "feel" the adrenaline rushing through my veins.... it's an awful "wired but tired" feeling.

I tried to keep this short. I'm sure I missed a lot of details.. but geez don't wanna bore everybody ! Please let me know what you think Sabra. Thanks soo soo soo much for replying to my post. You have no idea how reaching out to people on the internet has helped me.
I do take an array of supplements although sometimes I "slack" I try to take magnesium, calcium, iron once in a while, and B vitamins.
Sincerely & Happy Holidays,
Pamela

I think this problem is , at least partly down to stress. The World Health Org , has just recognised the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome .
Avoid at all cost pharmaceutical drugs - they will not help.
arg nit ,or Carbo Veg 30c daily may help. But try to escape from the treadmill and spend at least half a day a week , doing something that really interests you - painting , drawing , pottery , something with the hands that will allow your mind to get off the wheel in the hamster cage. And listen to Sabra she will help.

Darn, needed more spaces, oh well. Make single sentences.

Pamela, I am almost positive that you do not have a physical illness. Emotions really mess with the body.

There are so many things to say, no room. I too had panic attacks. I believe that I have been given small doses of things so I understand other people. It has been happening for years.

You ARE actually having your own version of panic attacks. You shake when you are controlling them. Everyone is different. You have no idea of the differences people have told me over the years. I work with bi-polar and panic people. I am bi-polar.

Whatever center or nutritionist you can work with will do. Find out the physical tissue imbalances.

Find a support group. One for depression or bi-polar. They all have had panic attacks. It is good to speak with like-minded people. You will see you are not alone.

Examine your surroundings and see if anything has been painted, tarred, new carpets, cleaning things, pesticides, all these type of things and see if anything is affecting you. Stop wearing perfume.

Do you burst out with anger once in awhile. Or, do you cry. Both are nearly the same emotionally. I mean, depending on the person, the emotion causes either/or.

We need to know these type of things.

Severe anxiety WILL cause the hands to shake. Cause vertigo, cause fainting. You know the long couches that were popular in europe in the 17 and 18 hundreds? They were called fainting couches. Made especially for women with panic attacks. (or trying to control their husbands, the only recourse at the time.)

Look at yourself in your mirror in the morning and say 3 nice things about yourself each morning, without fail. "I am nice looking, I have nice hair, I am a good person, I like others. I allow others to be who they are, Others allow me to be who I am, I am happy to be a woman.....etc.

Are you married? What age? Any children? Say all these things. When the hands began shaking you were in school? School was hard and you were scared? Scared to fail? Were you doing what you really wanted to do?

I could spend hours. And I do sometimes. Keep posting and we will see if we can find a couple of remedies to begin to help you find yourself again.

Go to health store and get some Bach Rescue Remedy. This will give you an edge to begin to have more control over the emotions.

First there is control, then it becomes like a blossoming of the former individual coming through the hard times into the good times.

Blessings, hang in there, Sabra

By the way, use only health store Iron replacement. Allopathic Iron replacement is dangerous to the body. S.

Hi guys !
What's pils? puls ?
I'm confused ... anyways -- Sabra --
my panick attacks are gone. I haven't had one in about 2 years... it's all the other stuff.... accupuncture did help. He is focusing on my "vegus" nerve.
I am a very emotional person. I cry. I cry sometimes when I don't feel good. I cry when I see a funny movie. I cry when I watch Extreme MakeOver Home edition !
I just spoke with a new chiro/accupunture guy gonna try tomorrow morning. First guy that doesn't think I'm a loon.
In regards to iron.. I take feosol... which is supposed to be "natural" ... where should I get the good stuff.
The nutritionist that I worked with had me on "magneleuvers"... they are packets.. and u dilute in water. NOt the greatest tasting..but I took it.. sucked it up! Was desperate to try anything !

I am married for 14 years. I have (2) great kids ... my boy is (7) and my girl is (10)
My mom said my hands always shook when I was a teenager... but I didn't notice at that time. My dad - his hands shake like a leaf. I always asked him why ? He said his friends always teased him and told my mom he's "nervous from the service"
I believe my dad never had a firm diagnosis -- but I truely believe he has a form of "et" or "benign essential tremor" -- When I had a visit with a neurologist last year I asked her and she just murmered something about essential tremor. I know there is no cure for it.. but I need to do something. Something to feel normal again.
I had a visit with my plastic surgeon yesterday. I had a tummy tuck in April. He checked my scar. I find when I am excited or talking or nervous or both .. I feel this "weighted" sensation on my face.... I feel light headedness.. I feel "adreneline" rushing through my veins...( is the only ways I know how to explain it..)
Thanks so much for listening .. and I'm sure I left something out but what do u think so far ?
Sincerely & Thankfully
Pamela

You are doing very good.
Panic attacks have a habit of dissapearing and one thinks they are over, but they come in other disguises. This may be the adrenalin "rush." What do you feel about this possibility?

2 possible things. You inherited this from your father, or you "copied" him as a child subconsciously. I have seen this many times. Children hold their heads like a parent and many times walk like them. I found a few that hold their shoulders like the parent.

The doctor investigating the vagus nerve is going a good route. It is attached to a certain part of the back of the skull. Forget which, but your chiropractor will know.

Do you "boo hoo" or only shed a few tears during those shows? There are different levels of crying as you know.
A few shed tears is really OK. Crying for a woman is not always a bad thing. How do you feel afterward?

Remember to keep what you ingest from the health food store. Avoid allopathic mixes. We need regular doctors for diagnosis many times, but avoid filling the prescriptions.

Talk to us some more. Talk about feelings. How do you and your husband get along, his family??? Yours???

Blessings, Sabra

Ran across the tremor name: "chorea." This is the involuntary moving or jerking of any part of the body.

Does any of this sound possible?

It is found in about 5 to 8 remedies.

Try some AVENA SATIVA. It may be good for your feelings of nervous exhaustion. Nervous headache at menstrual. It may not seem this way to you, maybe.

Use in a very low potency. 6X, 15X. Something low like this. Take one dose each night for 3 nights then every 3 days for 3 doses (3 again) and tell us how you are.

Hi Sara! Sorry took so long to write back. What a HECTIC week at work ! Christmas ! Shopping ! Ugh !
In regards to my emotions, I just shed a tear or two.. nothing hysterical ... I am really a very upbeat, normal happy girl that is so self conscience about my body .. the hand shakes.. the nervous trembling feeling inside..... my husband and I get along great ! I really have no hidden troubles ....

I shall buy your recommendation on line today and try it. Heck ! I have nothing to lose.
I have (2) accupunctures in the top of my ears. My chiro put them in on Tuesday night. He said when I wake up with palps to press on them 5 or 6 times... so far I've slept better, .. woke up sweating (2)nights in a row.. (that is a first.. perhaps it's a result of the new accupuncture points he's doing ??) ...but sure beats the heart palpitations ..
I have NOT taken ANY XANAX all week. I'm so proud of myself. I hate meds. Hate em Hate em hate em.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you taking the time to write me, a total stranger to you.. trying to help me....
Again.. thanks and best wishes for the HOLIDAY season.

I have a situation that is related to the posts here. Before I took Paxil I didn't suffer from tremors. But at the start of taking them, and now that I am trying to ween myself off of them, the tremors are so intense that I feel agitated and scared all the time. People startling me makes me cry even. Is there anything that can calm these tremors while I'm going off of Paxil? I'm down to 10 mg every other day and have one more week of that before I stop altogether. I don't know if I can make it that long though. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

So I've battled Essential Tremor for the last decade. I was diagnosed at age 61 and immediately searched out every remedy available. I tried handfuls of pills (I don't even want to know how much I've spent) and a number of other 'supposed' treatments. Recently, I stumbled upon StopEssentialTremor dot com, and I'm thinking I may have finally found something works. Granted, the treatments are very simple (most of these things I would have never guessed to use even though they were already in my home), but after about two weeks I've seen definite results. Now, the tremors still exist, especially my neck tremors, which have gotten progressively worse over the last few years, but they're more manageable.

Curious if anyone else has tried the methods from StopEssentialTremor dot com?

If you're desperate for a remedy like I was, I really suggest giving it a shot.

Also, I recently heard from a friend that fresh basil, steamed and drank like a tea eases symptoms. Has anyone tried this / had positive results?

Thanks.
