HIB+DPT Vaccine and Thuja
Hi friends,Yesterday my 3-month-old daughter got her second HIB+DPT vaccine and I gave her 1 drop of Thuja 30C just one hour after the shot. At this time she is doing quite well without any problem at all while with her first shot her thigh had a quite large lump, severe tenderness, low-grade fever, and lot of crying while now she is smiling as usual.

Once again last saturday, my daughter get her third dose HIB+DPT and i gave her Sulphur 200 three dose in morning and Thuja 30C one dose one hour after shot. She really had no complaint whatsoever after the shot.
On last month, i forgot to tell about Sulphur 200 that i have given which seems to me her C.medicine as well as is indicated for vacination side effects

What was the reason to use Thuja and sulphur to your daughter.After vaccination a lil temparature may come sweeling the place of shot and its normal.Thanks,malaker

I gave here these because with first shot she suffered a lot and think these kind of trauma can cause some obstcle in normal development of a child.

Vaccination is meant to build antibodies. Fever and the minor associated symptoms are a sign that the vaccine 'took'.
If you abort the process with Thuja immediately after vaccination, you are preventing the anti bodies to build up. In effect you are making the baby unvaccinated and prone to the consequences.
The better way is to give Arnica. It wil prevent the fever, but allows the antibodies to build up.

There are lots of belief that vacination playing negative role in the development of child also and in my own baby notice this as well as after first dose lasting to the first dose of thuja she was quite irritable with quite distrubed sleep,but now she is a very cheerful girl and calm sleeper and also after first she started to frequent stool upto 20s but now there is no such problem.
I do not believe that given Thuja early after shot would have any different result if given later in terms of anbibodies making. We can not know exactly how thuja works. I think it is an area like others where a turstworthy reasearch is necessary with respect to vacination and homoeopathy, but unfortunately this seems to impossible as you can see here how many homoeopathic doctors are posting except and i think you would have highest post in this forum despite being an engineer by profession.
With regards to Arnica, it is also good in this regard. I gave her almost every time when she got preventive antibiotic injections or painful IV push whenever i forgot that she cried a lot and after vaccination i had given her Arnica, but at this time it do not do any favor for her.

The main aim of my thread is that share what happens with your child after vacination and homoeopathic medication adminstration if happened.

Hi Rakesh thanks for sharing this. Actually I think Robin Murphy's Keynotes on MM talks about giving sulphur prior to vaccination.
Another interesting anecdote from the literature is :
'In the early days of vaccination it was found that the action of this remedy(sulphur) on
the frame was decidedly adverse to the receptivity of vaccine. According to Dr.
Tierney, Dr. Jenner failed in vaccinating thirty soldiers, all under treatment
by this remedy'.
Many homeopaths do suggest sulphur and thuja before and after vaccination. And I think dr. Luc suggests Ledum after vaccination through injections.

Thanks for your reply. I believe that homoeopathic doctors do not share their experience truly neither positive (they think another may find it useful)or negative (homoeopathy would be defamed and so earning)but i have no concern with these i want to share truth. I usually believe in homoeopathic reference when thinks are reliable. Maheeru your reference caused me some anxiety regarding failed immunization and I did not gave her my routine homoeopathic preventive measure and gave only one dose of sulphur just 1 hour before immunization when asked my wife and asked her to give her thuja 30 after one hour of immunization on 26 August, 2008. Unfortunately, she cried somewhat on August 26, 2008 night, but next day she cried from 10:30 to 6:00 pm I think it may be due to her mother absence but by severe crying I gave her Chammomila 30 one dose, but that not helped and I do not go for any other medication when the mother came she continued to crying but a lesser degree. my baby wants her to be all the time with her not allowing even to move from one room to another and today I am away from home when she reported me that she is crying almost in same manner then I asked her to see my a ENT specialist friend who diagnosed her with some inner ear inflammation. I do not believe what cause these things but most certainly by hot weather, humidity, and rain. I am considering to gave her Puls as soon as I reach the home and confirm this (indication consolation amel and amel in open air). I do not think that there be there some role of immunization, but one cannot be sure unless we have sufficient records of immmunization and homoeopathic role after immunization if given.

She is doing fine with Puls up until now with occasional tuggling around her ears.
I had taken her to an ENT doctor who examined the ear and that said that there was an boil in the right ear which is in healing process. You could gave her an antibiotic for three days and it would heal, but i do not go forward with the antibiotic and continue with Puls.
Now, i noted new symptom pulling of hair on head whenever she gets pain in it i think so, i tried to find rubric for this, but failed (tried only synthesis repertory yet)
She is doing fine with Puls up until now with occasional tuggling around her ears.

Mind, pull, desire to pull ones hair : bell., lach., lil-t., tarent.
From Kent. However this rubric seems to cover some form of mania (based on the medicines indicated) and may not fit your daughter's case.
If Pulsatilla fails to relieve completely in a couple of days, you may think of silecia.
