After Singles Itchiness

I have just recovered (or am recovering) from Shingles. The last blister has fallen of and the skin is smooth as normal. But, I have lot of itchiness on my forehead and scalp (where shingles attacked). This does not let me sleep or work.

The itchiness is lot worse than the itchiness that I had during the shingles.

Question:
1) What should I take to subside the itchiness. Cream or medicine.

Information:
Just to share with the others individuals suffering from Shingles or wanting to do some research on Shingles.
1) When Shingles starts you have a Jingle kind of a feeling in the area that is affected.
2) It is just like needles peicering the area.
3) this can be followed by deep pain. You can know about it as the pain is not normal pain but actute pain and feelis like it is deep in the muscle (actually effects the nerve)
4) At the first rash go to the doctor.
5) This could effect the eye (visibility) and hearing. In my case i had rashed on the eye lids too but eye sight was ok till I recovered. Now, 2 days after recovery, I have some problem with the eye. Cant see far of things clearly. So keep meeting your doctors.

Hope the above helps.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
HYPERICUM for nerve endings. Because Shingles are from the spine, from the chicken pox virus of the childhood that remained there and has popped out in the adult for various reasons, none of which is actually known.

Mezereum for the scalp and facial location.

Urtica Urens is good in extreme skin outbreaks that itch violently. Also chicken pox.

Hypericum first for two days. 1M or what you can get. 3 doses per day.

Then you have to choose, is the itching worse or the appearance? So if itching, go with Urtica Urens. 1M
3 doses per day only as needed. Blessings, Sabra
