few more additions to my problem. black colour tongue.
Dear Friends,Please help me i am scared. I would like to know if somebody has faced this problem or if somebdoy has suggested a possible remedy for this.
All of a sudden in the morning my wife asked me why the color of your tongue is black. I just couldn't beleive myself and checked in the mirror and found out it was true.
ABC Homeopathy forum remedy indicator selects Phosphorus as the remedy. Is this is correct?
All these following symptoms indicated for Phosphorus by the ABC HOMOEOPATHIC REMEDY FINDER as a remedy are true and correct. I have just selected them for reference.
unquenchable tongue dryness; always for the past 2 days I have been drinking excess water than ever in my life.
dryness; morning; on waking; ;
dryness; night; ;
Unbeleivable I drank more than 3 -4 cups of water just before sleeping in the night.
dryness; with thirst;
discoloration; tongue; black;
discoloration; tongue; black; centre; and also fissured as if cut from a knife vertically.
dryness;
dryness; palate (roof of mouth); ;
dryness; tongue; centre; ;
growths, blisters, swellings; ulcers; gums; ;
inflammation; gums; ;
small boils on gums.
taste; tasteless, lacks taste;
Absolutely nothing tastes, I usually hate pickles but since nothing tastes I ate pickles yesterday.
stomach; desires, cravings; highly seasoned food;
Desire spicy foods.
stomach; thirst; for large quantities;
stomach; thirst; unquenchable; (feel like drinking large quantities of water) but even then the thirst is unquenchable. The more I drink water the more thirsty I feel.
If Phos is the remedy please advise dose and potency also,
Any precautions etc...

After looking, I feel that the better remedy may be NATRUM MUR. I think probably you are of the darker body type?? Dark hair?
Natrum Mur 15X, (has to be low) one dose twice daily for 3 days and then wait and watch. Tongue may be last or first in response.
In addition to the spicy foods and thirst, do you eat salt more than most?
Any headache or eye activity? Phos. does not speak of the tongue symptom, and this is very great.
What of body type? Larger, medium? Slender? Size around waist would tell me a lot. In american please.
OPIUM also has a black tongue, but the mental is different. The person has response difficulties.
