How about the stomach aches and flatulence ?

sameervermani last decade
Sameer,

His stomach aches have gone away and his flatulence have almost gone away. I do not notice anymore but he says it is still slightly present.

Thank you

Hmm.. I have a remedy in mind, but we will wait longer as some aspects have been improving (even mentally).

So, update me in 5-6 days.

Oh, I forgot to tell you that my son hates asking for help. When he was having trouble with a homework assignment in geometry he would not ask his teacher for help. He said that he would figure it out. Then another assignment came up and with a lot of urging from my husband and I he finally went into his teacher. He didn't like it but he got the information that he needed to understand the material. He wants to act like he knows everything and that he doesn't need help.

I hope this will help with further diagnosing.

Thank you,

Hi Sameer,

My son's attitude has gotten worse and he is not able to fall asleep. It takes him an hour to fall asleep even though he is very tired. He says he has so many thoughts going through his head. He was very tired this morning. I also had the rotten egg smelling flatulence this morning. Is there anything I can give him sooner than waiting until the end of this week? He has done poorly on some major assignments this week. Oh, when you asked if he was revengeful, I said yes. I wanted to clarify that he does has revengeful feelings but he does not act upon them. He only states them outloud. I hope this helps.

Thank you,

We need to go back to Lycopodium but it CANNOT be given directly after Sulphur.

Please procure Lycopodium 200c, and let me know once you have it with you.

but in the meanwhile please give a single dose of Calcarea Carb 6c,

dissolve 1 pellet of Calc 6c directly on the tongue. Make sure nothing enters his mouth 1 hr before and 1 hr after the dose.

Report when you have Lyc 200c with you.

Thank you Sameer. I'll have to order the Calcarea Carb 6c and the lyc 200c. Just an update... He is starting to get the stomach aches back. Yesterday it was slight and today more intense. He really didn't want to eat anything this morning but he eventually did. I can also smell more of the flatulence. One more thing... He does exagerate to his friends. If he really caught a small fish, he says that it was an extremely large fish that he could barely get in the boat. He is also starting to become a lot more artistic in his paintings and drawings. Still very talkative and impatient. He couldn't find this one piece of paper last night to finish an essay and was verbally saying out loud angrily, 'Oh, well! Everthing just goes wrong with me!! I'll just have to make up what I thought I was going to say! Why is it that everything is wrong!!' Then I told him to settle down and let's go through his notebooks. He yelled and said he already looked through them all and that he bets me 1 million dollars that we won't find it! Well Sameer, we found it! He stopped short and smiled and said softly that he was sure it wasn't there. Then he was fine the rest of the night. He does this a lot when he misplaces things and swears that it is no where to be found and then I or someone else finds it. However, he has become more organized as he gets older. He always has his athletic clothes and shoes ready the night before. Also during Christmas vacation he organized his whole closet! He hung up everything nicely and organized his drawers!
Just thought I would add these few more insights to help.

Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Sameer,

I gave the 6c of calcarea to my son last night. He said he had a slight stomach ache this morning. I'll get more information about how his day was later on this evening. I do have the lycopodium 200c. I forgot that I had purchased a kit with this in it.
Let me know what I need to do. I believe the 2 week waiting period is this Sunday the 22nd of Feb.
I wanted to ask you a question about the sulphur. Is it because of the sulpher that my son smells so bad? His breath is very offensive.

Thank you so much for all you do!

Please wait for Calcarea to act.

Breath can be related to Sulphur.

Update me in 4 days.

Hi Sameer,

The Calcarea worked well with my son. He says that he has very, very slight stomach aches but nothing like he had before. He said that over the last 2 months he hasn't felt good. He said that he just doesn't feel like doing anything and feeling depressed. He says he can't explain it but it's just an overall not feeling well. I am taking him to a Chiropractor this for a regular adjustment. The chiropractor is always reminding my son to walk centered. My son pronates when he walks (walks slightly on the outside of his feet). My son's right jaw has been hurting for a couple of days. I'm not sure if he is grinding his teeth at night or clenching them.
It will be four days tomorrow that he started the calcarea. Do I give him the lyco.?

Thank you,
SindyM

' I am taking him to a Chiropractor this for a regular adjustment. The chiropractor is always reminding my son to walk centered'

This will interfere with the homeopathic treatment.

And, why do you say that 'Calcarea worked well with my son' ?

sameervermani last decade
Sameer,

Since my son has been on the track team, he has had a few issues with ankles hurting or just general feeling of not in alignment. He has been seeing this chiropractor for about a year every other month or so. I didn't think this would interfere with homeopathy at all.
The Calcarea seemed to be working because his stomach aches are not as bad as before. He is not complaining and not as angry. Instead of being upset he was honest with himself and me about how he felt. He didn't seem to cover up his feelings with exagerations, anger, or talking so much. I'm not sure what else to say about this.

Hmm.. okay then please give him a single dose of Calcarea Carb 30c as below.

Dissolve 1 pellet in 120 ml water, and give him a teaspoon from there ONCE.

Report in 1 week.

Hi Sameer,

I didn't want to make the same mistake as I did with my daughter. My son is getting a cold. He says his throat hurts and his nose is runny. What would you suggest if his symptoms get worse?

Also, he does not have anymore stomache aches and he is grumpy. I don't think the Calcarea Carb is the answer. I was reading about Lyco. and it seemed to fit his personality more that the calcarea.

Thanks,
Cindy

Well homeopathy is not just about picking the most similar remedy. You have to understand remedy relationships and interactions as well. There was a reason I was giving Calcarea.

Please give him 2 doses of Hepar Sulphuris Calcareum 30c spaced by 5 hours for the cold, and report back in 48 hours.

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer,

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I see that by reading some of the remedies that you have given others that there is a lot more to this than I undersstand. I read about Calcarea and it didn't fit my son so I started reading how certain remedies help others etc...Thank you for your careful diagnosis.

Hi Sameer,

I did not give my son the hepar sulphuris calcareum because he was doing better. However, now he has a bad inner ear ache on the right ear. The only thing I gave him was advil for the pain last night but it is still hurting this morning.

What would you recommend?

Than you,
sindym

sindym last decade
Any other symptoms along with the ear ache ?

Anything which improves the ear pain or makes it worse ?

sameervermani last decade
Hi Sameer,

Now it seems that it is going away. It first started with his right jaw hurting, then his outer ear, then inner ear. He says he feels better now. I haven't given him any advil.

I think he is O.K.
Do I just let the previous remedy work or is there something else in mind. His stomach aches have gone away. He says he has an overall feeling of not feeling well. He said that it has been going on for about 2-3months. Last year he seemed so sure of himself. This year because of the school change and the harder subjects he is very unsure of himself. He still is very talkative.

When was the Calcarea 6c dose given ?

sameervermani last decade
It was given 7-8 days ago

sindym last decade
Hmm.. okay go ahead with the Lycopodium 200c dose then.

Dissolve 2 pellets in 120 ml spring water, stir well with a spoon, and give him 1 teaspoon from here ONCE. Make sure nothing enters his mouth 1 hr before and 1 hr after the dose.

Stay away from cabbage, onions and coffee.

Report in 1 week.

Sameer,

Thank you for your quick response and thank you for providing your time and energy toward helping my son!

Just a question...do you think the lycopodium fits my son or do you have another remedy in mind for the future? I'm trying to understand the process. Can you explain why you wanted him to take the calcarea?

Just wanting to understand.

sindym last decade
Lycopodium cannot be given after Sulphur.

That was the problem in going back to it directly after Sulphur.Calcarea was just used a bridge.

I have another remedy in mind, but we will see if that is needed or not once he has responded to Lycopodium fully.
