The ABC Homeopathy Forum

anxiety, anger, overeating

I am having difficulties with being anxious all the time. I have a prescription for Xanax that I try not to take unless for emergencies but it just shuts me down when I do so I try to avoid them.
I have realized lately how angry I am at everything and everybody. For no legitimate reason. I have a great life and loving people that surround me. The smallest thing can set him off into a crying spell.
I have never had a weight problem before but lately I just sit at home and eat and eat and eat. I am still not at a bad weight at the moment but it is not what I am comfortable with. I think a lot of the overeating is filling the empty space of boredom and loneliness. My fiance works about 80 hours a week and we hardly see eachother and I am very supportive in what he is doing but being alone all the time does put a toll on me.
I have good sleeping habits though I sleep a little more than I would like but I am working on that. I just turned 23 and feel like I am finally getting over the need to sleep so much.
I am also a recovering heroin addict and have been clean for a year minus one relapse a few months ago. I have always had issues with substance abuse since I was 13.

please if there is anything you can suggest I would be very grateful.
