abdominal adhesion pain

I am 57 years old. I have had 2 abdominal surgeries--one in 2001 that was a complete hysterectomy and a second in 2006 which was a bowel resection. Appprox 4 months after the 2006 surgery I began experiencing a pulling sensation in the abdominal area. It is now 2 1/2 years later and I still have this discomfort. I don't feel any pain while seated or layng down. It is after I have been up and moving around that it appears. It isn't always in the same spot either---sometimes it is in the center area of my abdomen. For the past few months it is on the upper left part of my abdomen. It feels like a pulling and sometimes like something is just sitting there. I have mentioned it to my gastroenterologist who doesn't seem concerned. He seems to think it is likely to be adhesions. I am getting tired of the discomfort though. I have no other symptoms---no fever, bloating, loss of appetite, loss of energy, etc. Is this fairly typical after 2 abdominal surgeries (I was fine after the first surgery which lasted over 4 hours because, in addition to the hysterectomy I also had endometrisis and the surgeon spent alot of time getting endometrial tissue out of the abdominal cavity.) I don't want to live with this but I think I could if I just knew that this sounded like a fairly typical case of adhesions. Thank you

LECTURES ON HOMŒOPATHIC MATERIA MEDICA
by JAMES TYLER KENT, A.M., M.D.

Staphysagria

.....Effects from loss of blood, shock, from surgical operations, injuries from sharp instruments, incised wounds. Stinging, etc., in surgical wounds, cuts; colic after lithotomy, urging to stool, qualmishness, worse from drinking.....

On the basis of above i recommend you to take 3 doses of staphysagria on a single day at a gap of 4 hrs. Don't take any more doses. See whether the sensation goes away or diminishes within next 10 days. Follow homoeopathic restrictions like no coffee, no raw garlic/onion, don't eat or drink anything 30 minutes before or after taking the dose.
