My story and how I got my severe panic/anxiety cured

Hey... Victoria here.. a lil about me- about a year after my husband left me and my daughter died about 5 years ago.. I was at a very difficult point in my life, and was ultimately diagnosed with depression, severe anxiety, and panic disorder. I would say that i've always for the most part been a little depressed and had some degree of anxiety, but this just completely tipped the scale. I remember there were days on end I would just lie in bed, and whenever I would be in a social envirement my anxiety would go through the roof and I would often have panic attacks. Therapy never seemed to be effective for me, and my psych put me on damn near every med out there. I've been on everything from wellbutrin to paxil, zoloft, prozac, lexapro, celexa, buspar, valium, klonopin, xanax.. etc. Sometimes 2-3 different ones in combo at the same time. Nothing really seemed to work for me. With the exception of some of the benzos (klono./xanax) .. these worked well for a little while, but I grew tolerance quickly, and became highly addicted.

Then one day while researching online i came across this reputable looking website: anxiety.pcti-system. com .. which talked about this program to eliminate your anxiety for good, all naturally. Long story short, I wound up signing up to try it and the program worked amazing.. Not only do I no longer have panic attacks and anxiety gone, but my depression has also seemed to dissipate a little. And I'm currently starting to slowly ween off the meds I'm on. For those who have also conquered their condition.. I wanted to get your opinion/perspective on something... Looking in hindsight, I would personally say that possibly the biggest driving factor in all this is OCD. I think obsessing and constantly having your thoughts focused on your own condition and constantly analyzing your own thoughts/ations plays a very significant role in the persistance of our ails. Almost like the condition is a small lit fire, and OCD is the fuel that keeps it consistantly burning... Also, I've come to the conclusion that meds are generally a unhealthy short term cure that only semi-treats the symptoms, and never the cause. Your thoughts ???

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
My very own personal thought on disease is that it comes from being spiritually ill, in the deepest part of your being.

This is caused by negative life experiences that soil our spirits and weigh us down. Our bodies show the signs. (I also believe that bad Karma makes us ill)

So when someone is mentally ill there is obviously a deep-rooted emotional cause. I believe the same for someone that maybe has cirrhosis or diabetes, it's all emotional and stems deeper than we could possibly know.

Of course, there could be a cause we could pin-point in this life, a traumatic experience, but if we came into life as clean slates we'd be better equipped to deal with these events and healing would come easily. This is why I think it comes with us from WAY back, generations, past lives, etc. Who knows exactly how, but we inherit it into our present.

I think that when we try to heal something many times we unknowingly push it in deeper, but never really get into the root cause to deal with that. This is why I like hypnotherapy so much and have studied it a lot, because it deals with the root cause and helps us to dissipate it. I also like to treat disease nutritionally because it gets rid of the clutter…

I think that we obsess about our ailments because we are ill. Obsessing is yet another disease. I don't think it does much in the way of making one sicker, though, I think it brings the disease and the awareness of it to surface and forces us to deal with it. When we try to put the illness out of our minds and not think about it all it does is to put it aside, compress it, but it's still there and surely it will reappear. It may appear as something different altogether.

Maybe it's because I think of illnesses as somewhat of a live entity that has to be extracted, fully.

Sure, you can clean the body and maintain it this way and live a perfectly healthy, happy life, but I think a truly healthy body should be able to renew itself and without any upkeep. Of course, I’ve yet to see this done, but theoretically, ya know…

I’ve yet to wrap my head around homeopathy and have only skimmed the very surface. I haven’t read much about disease, the why’s and how’s, but so far it seems to me that it works by bringing the illness out, not “suppressing,” it.

I stay as far away from mainstream medicine as possible, but do use it for 'in the meantime.' I don't expect it to heal me, but I do expect it to help me feel better while I heal.

Right now I'm on Rx for hypothyroidism, but hope to be able to live without those meds in the future. I like that with homeopathy I can sort of merge and ultimately be independent of the meds.

I agree... I think spirituality has alot to do with it, ive always thought that personally.. but I dont speak much about it because its not necessarily something that can be readily proven. But that is for me personally what my gut tells me where alot of this stuff for me, and im sure others.. actually spawns from. Good points
