Tobacco -- Abies n., Ars., Calad., Calc. p., Camph., Chin. ars., Cinch., Coca, Gels., Ign., Ipec., Kal., Lyc., Mur. ac., Nux v., Phos., Plant., Plumb., Sep., Spig., Staph., Tab., Ver. a.

Here the remedies like caladium creates aversion to smoking while remedies like ars alb antidotes it's ill effects (to some extent when the remedy is indicated on the basis of totality of symptoms).

Bach Flower Remedies like Cherry Plum and Crab Apple can also be used for sustaining aversion to smoking.

I have had no success at all stopping patients from smoking using these remedies. Anyone else actually seen them work this way?

I have however seen patients give up using their own will and desire to do so, after being prescribed a particularly deep-acting remedy.

So it seems to me, the desire to smoke, like the desire to use any drug, is a rather complex affair in a patient's life.
