Help-7 mo old can't nurse stuffed up!
Although this is my 3rd child, I don't ever recall this. This is his first cold, he's exclusively breastfed. This cold is slow coming on- he and I are last to get it- his older siblings have it.He's a VERY happy baby even right now, I mean ALL the time he's happy (unless I eat dairy,wheat,soy,corn etc) but REALLY he normally never cries... sleeps good, laughs alot, but he can't nurse right now as he is completely stuffed up!!!! It got worse at 4-5am. Right nostril is crusty but slight clear runnning dishcharge. He's currently getting his 2 bottom teeth in as well.
I am going to try nux 30c to see...I don't know what else to do.PLEASE HELP.

You can try just single dose of Nux-V 30c, dissolve 1 pellet in 500 ml spring water, and give him a teaspoon from there.
If this does not work, you can give him a single dose of Sambucus Nigra 6c in the same manner.

I did actually choose that remedy. Thank you.... There did not seem to be any improvement. Out of desperation I squirted breastmilk up his nose and put essential oil of eucalyptus on his shirt and in the vaporizer which cleared the stuffiness. He was then able to nurse. He had quite a cough this morning and I gave him aconite 200c. He's been awesome all day, just a clear nasal flow and some sneezing. I do notice he is starting to snuffle up again now as it is dark (8:30pm my time). Hopefully he continues to be able to nurse and the worst is over.... I do have Sambucus but I believe it is a 30c?? If I need it, can it follow aconite?

Sambucus Nigra 30c can be given , just a single dose (in water) can be given, but it is very specific for a nasal obstruction which prevents nursing. So, if he has difficulty in nursing go ahead with Samb.
