Absolutely no harm. The best way is to use medicines 5 days a week with two days rest then start again.

I am a 30 year old caucasian woman from Australia. I have had noticable Pterygium for over a year now, and it only seems to be getting bigger and more inflamed. I don't want surgery and am trying to find a natural remedy of way to reduce the growth. I have it only in the inner right eye. I have been a right handed light smoker more on than off for 15 years. just recently stopped. I also live in Austalia next to the beach and have indulged in the sun in recent years without good sunglasses or hats. It gets inflamed if i am tired, been in the sun, watched television or been in a smoky environment or been crying. I am finding it difficult to get up in the morning, feel very groggy even though have had 8 hours sleep. IMy dreams have been pretty weird lately, i think due to stopping smoking tobacco. My reaccurring dreams predominately have been those of being chased, either by myself or with a group. The other recent theme that has cropped up enough times for me to wonder is dreams where i need to use the toilet to do a poo, usually not being able to be private, i wake up not needing to go. I am sensitive to cold, sugar, wind, negative energy, critiscm and unhealthy food. I seem to be quite negative in my mind and always thinking about the future. I have used homeopathics my whole life and was immunised with them when i was a baby. My constitutional was worked out to be pulsitilla when i was 5 yrs old. I think it has changed then, but not sure what to, i can find out. I hope this is enough info....
Much Thanks....

that last post was a bit vague so ill try and be more specific. I am young and surf alot and have a computer so i must have got it from the sun or computer glare. its still small just barely reaching the colored part of my eye but it gets red and isnt nice to look at. any help would be apreciated, thanks.

Sounds familiar - I assumed I got my Pterigium from surfing and too many hours on computer too. I bought UV goggles for surfing, Panoptx sunglasses for other outdoor sports - I have an almost clear pair for using when on the computer for a long time - it will help keep your eyes from drying out which can lead to Pterygium growth. Mine emerged within a two week period about 14 months ago, but have not grown since. Redness and irritation are not as bad after first ~eight months.

I also use Refresh Plus drops with no preservatives,

take care

Hi,
I also have two pterygium. I want to encourage all the health seekers with a little story. After practicing qigong for 1.5 years, one pterygium (that was encroaching slightly on the iris) went away in about a 2 week period, after so much energy had been built in my body. The energy coursed through my entire eyeball, felt very cooling to the pterygium and it shrank without a scar. I stopped doing qigong for due to time constraints and over the years the pterygium grew back. Also the other eye was unaffected by the qigong and that ptergium size has increased. What I can tell is that my right side of my body was filled with energy and the right eye was able to heal, while the left side of my body was much weaker and blocked and hence the left eye had not been healed. I plan on returning to regular qigong practice. It seems that people who have ptergium really need to pay attention to antioxidant foods and stay away from anything that contributes to genetic mutation, which seems to be the underlying cause of the pterygium. I think these homeopathic doctors are so great for giving free advice on these matters. I have consumed large sums of herbs plus homeopathy, and they have all helped. It is a constant struggle to fight the oxidative damage to the eyes by the sun, various negative radiation sources, harmful foods, dehydration, stress, etc. I encourage you all on this natural path, because the eyes are just one indication of genetic mutation. If you can abate the growth, that means you are healing on a genetic level, which impacts your whole body. Good luck to you all.

Hello,

I would like to know about this Zinc remedy to cure pterygium.

I have purchased Zinc Met 30c tablets but im a little confused as to how much water to mix it with, and also how much to drink.

Your instructions were from what i understand:

Put 3 pellets into bottle of water - (1 oz of water, 3 oz of water, 1 cup of water or ?)

Then during the day one is suppose to make this 3 times, or is one supposed to drink only 1/2 tablespoon of this mixture of water, and use the same water mixture during the whole day.

So one is only using 3 pellets per day for one bottle of water, and make a fresh batch each day or 3 times a day?

Any help would be appreciated.

Eric

Or is the faster way that one puts the 3 tablets in water, drink entire bottle and repeats this 3 times a day, for up to 3 days provided no increase in problem.

Then continue for 2 weeks but with 3 tablets in water but only 1 time a day, drinking entire bottle.

thanks for advice

I have appreciated reading all of this. I have developed a pterygium also. I am 43 and a raw foodist. I especially appreciate ginats message about qigong. I was thinking something like that might work. Is there anyone here for whom this zinc remedy has worked? Any other advice?

Thanks Frank for your great discovery for preparing eye drop for treating pterygium with herbal remedies. It will be helpful if you please mention the name of herbs and the way you prepare it in the greater interest of sufferer.Further it is to be mentioned here that i have treated pterygium of both eyes with Euphracia lotion 2drop morning and evening,Rathania 30 4 pills 3times before 30 minutes ahead of every meal, silicea 12x 3tabs 3 times after 30 minutes of every meal. The cure rate is positive.Euphasia lotion should be prepared 1 drop of mother tincture mix with 1 drum of distilled water and shake it 5 to 10 times and apply with a droper in the affected eye. Please dont use any herbal drops which are not prepared with homeopathic remedies or not approved by the major homeopathic practioners. Thanks malaker,Bangladesh
