51 yr old male overmedicated?

- 51 yr old male, generally healthy- eat fairly well, moderate wine drinker 2-3 glasses most days. Particular about many things, but not excessive or perfectionist. Enjoy my business very much.
- Until 40 yrs old partied a bit much and drank too much. Had several unexplained seizures which all ended in atrial fibrillation. Afib became moderatly severe over time occurring every 1-2 days. A debilitating feeling for me and I could not function. Hospitalized twice trying to find an antiarythimac that worked. Ended up with 350 mg. of flecainide per day which I take to this day although symptoms of afib are non-existent for 1 year.
- Also have hypertension (genetic) which is controlled by Altace 5 mg., hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) 25 mg. Take Coumadin 7 mg. as well to prevent possible stroke from possible afib. Crestor 10 mg to keep elevated cholesterol down. Round it off with 50 mg. of Toprol in the evening and this is my whole med cocktail.
-My heart echocardiogram has improved tremendously over the past several years. Heart and artery wall thickness are now normal and a fussy valve in the past seems to have been corrected.
- I now exercise regularly at least 3-4 days a week, lifting weights, some cardio. I am 6'5' tall and 190 lbs. Recurring lower back pain and I am very active pyhsically.
- Side effects now occurring include erectile dysfunction at an increasing rate (this is most disturbing), frequent flushing and redness of the face and neck over the past several years increasing, small blood vessels in my face esp. at the cheek area. The flushing/blushing occurs often when with other people although I am fairly confident of myself and a good business person, this really affects me psychologically.
- I have been told that among other things, that this quantity of meds is really stressing my liver and that in the long run, we really don't know what these drugs will do to us. I would like very much to be weaned off of these meds but am fearful of afib returning after not having it for so long and elevated blood pressure.
- Somewhat of a light sleeper. Sometimes awake with 'night terrors'- dreams that are very action packed, sometimes bloody or frightening which makes my heart rate rise and in the past has caused afib, but no longer. This is why I take the 50m g Toprol before bed.
- I love almost all food and enjoy eating out very much.
- I don't allow a lot of good friends in but the few I have, I am close to.
- I am more sensitive to heat than cold, sweat very easily when warm.
- It bothers me that people in general aren't in my opinion, smarter. I always feel like I know more than most people but don't often voice that opinion.
- State of mind is generally good, I get angry sometimes about things that don't go right (mostly minor) and my marriage. My wife and I are separated but I do live more happily alone. We are good friends.
- I am a mostly cheerful person and feel that I am fortunate to have the life I have been blessed with. I am fairly religious.
- My goal is to eventually come off of these drugs and take homeopathic remedies instead. I care more about my body now than I ever have and want to preserve it as long as possible.
- Thank you, in advance, for any help you can offer.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please take three doses of Nux Vomica 200c at a gap of 4 hours for only one day (not daily) and report back after 15 days.

One dose means
If the medicine is in pills form 4 pills. Don't touch pills with hand. Use cap of bottle to take pills.
If the medicine is in liquid dilution form, 3-4 drops in some 20 ml water. Sip up slowly.

Please follow homeo restrictions like no coffee, no raw onion/garlic, no strong perfumes, don't eat or drink anything within 30 minutes before or after taking medicine.
