A few symptoms needing some remedy, thank you! :) Page 2 of 2

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
oh.. i should also note that he has very loose stools. they used to be thick and soft, but for the past cpl months they are very runny and soak right into his cloth diaper. and he has a fair amount of flatulence, and quite often squirms part way through his feeds (but this is getting better).
also to note, my appetite has increased this past week.

Boy:
Eczema and diarrhea, it is showing symptoms of sulfur. Could it be that stool smells much like eggs, and even rotten eggs? Another thing, is there a particular time that it is bad?

Mother:
When you say 'my appetite
has Increased this past week.'
It means the period after the use of Ignatia?
And it's not something else, which may have led to the improvement of appetite? Just want to be sure that it is medicine that leads to this, posetive, change. Is there also a difference in what kind of food you fancy?

hello, i went and seen a natropath today and going to get allergy testing done next week so that is good.
should i take another dose?
also what is your thought on homeopathic vaccines?
thanks

some_gurly last decade
When it comes to taking a second dose, depending on whether the first dose has stopped. Do you feel that nothing happens anymore? If so, you can take another dose of Ignatia 200C.
Do not think this is related to your son's eczema. Could be a reaction to sulfur.

Homeopathic vaccine? :-) Homeopathy works on the symptoms, no symptoms, no effect. (And do not take any other medication, just Ignatia.)

They claim that homeopathic vaccine should have a preventive effect, but I'm very skeptical. As mentioned, always one choose homeopathic medicine based on the symptoms a person has, that is how homeopathy works. When there are no symptoms, how should this medicine work?

Another thing, can you be so kind to answer my questions from previous posts? It is impossible for me to know what to do, if you do not respond. Thank you.

good day :)
i havent heard from you in a while, i was hoping you could help aid me in the next step. particularly my sons is my main concern right now. his eczema has gotten so bad! could it be possible that this will be permanently worse now, due to a possible overdose of sulphur? since i medicated myself i didnt know how much to take and took 4-6 pills a few times a day for about a week! his eczema looked like it was almost gone, but i kept taking pills not knowing any better and it got worse. i read somewhere i could put one pill in a glass , fill with water, than dump and refill many times to make an antidote. could this work? is it possible i 'proved' the remedy .. if so can it be fixed? thanks so much for your time!

haha im so blind :/ i missed the 'page two' of this thread and havent seen any of your replies! silly me.
my son has had the loose stools for quite awhile, before the S.pills. it seems to be getting better now that i took dairy out of my diet, they used to be every day and very loose.. but now every few days and starting to thicken up. the smell i will have to get back to you on.
he now wakes VERY often , i think due to the itch of eczema. it was on the side of this face before but is now spreading to his whole body. mainly chest, arms and legs. bumps on legs and patches on arms. i will take pictures tm.

my appetite started increasing after taking ignatia yes :) im pretty sure that is the reason anyways. i am craving less carbs and love the thought of authentic Vietnamese or the like.. such as fresh vegetable stir frys

so there are some pictures.
i think he has two type of skin diseases after speaking with the doctor and looking at other pictures. i think he has infant eczema and seborrhea/seborrheic dermatitis. it started on his cheeks than cheeks got way bigger (he had cradle cap before this and still does a littel), then moved to little bump on chest than big area on arm, bumps on legs and rest of face and place between forehead i think came last and is also getting worse.
his stools changed again. when we were away for the weekend he went back to no poo for a few days and it was healthy looking and thicker. than the next day really runny again and smelt of wet bread. and later that day just a little bit of yellow mucous. the only thing that changed really was environment and me eating more bread/oats and molasses. he itches it alot when tired. and not getting good sleeps and is more tired and irritable because of it. and sucky. but still manages to try and stay in good spirits laughing and smiling.
i went to the reg doctor today and he of course wanted me to use oral antibiotics and 1% steroid cream with antibiotics in them. he is worried it is getting infected
thank you for your help!

Hi and thanks for the pictures. ( What a sweet boy!:-)

First I would say that you can use a calendula ointment to prevent infection. You can probably buy it in a health shop. Be sure to get one with the most content of calendula, 'Marigold'. Calendula is very effective against infection, and has no side effects. You can also buy it in loose weight, make a tea that you can have in the water, bathing water.

Now I have gone through what I have of literature, and finds no other remedy that may fit this issue, just Sulphur.

Takes a little review here, so you can see if these symptoms match.

Tremendous itching. Voluptuous itching. Burning itching.
Scratching until raw and oozing or unntil he bleeds.

Worse: 'Night. on becoming heated, especially if heated in bed. ( In areas where he perspires) Bathing.'

Better:' Cold or cold applications.'

Appearance: ' Moist eczema - though any appearance is possible. most cases have moist eruptions which are moist or oozing.
The skin has a dirty or unclean appearence.
There may be a foul odor from the eruptions.'

Location: ' Margin of the hair line, in the bend of the elbow, Popliteal fossa (the back of the knee-joint) antecubital fossea ( Bend of the elbow ) The groin and the feet.'

Can you say you agree with any of this?
If so:
I think you should use sulphur, but perhaps in a lower power, to begin with. 12C, it is possible to buy it where you live?
What you should do then, is to crush 3 or 4 pills, which you mix into a glass of clean water. Mix the crushed pills in the water. (You can crush them between two tablespoons)
Once that is done you can give a teaspoon of this water, and directly into the mouth. Give 3 times a day, morning noon and night. You can give up to 9 - 10 times. If you see an improvement, you must stop. Wait and see what happens next. Is it a little better and then worse again, you can give more. After that, you start at 30C. Same procedure.

Just ask if there are any questions, and remember Calendula ointment.

Hello, thanks for your reply.
yes i was review some of the things as well and sulphur does seem to match the best... that is why i was wondering if the overdose of sulphur is what caused this? the symptoms 'proved' etc. do u think this could be possible? and if so mayb anti doting mayb work better? because it isnt until i took this that it exploded like this. doctor says it is a form of cradle crap all over his body.
i have some cendula on order, i will look into more potent forms and tea :)

It is possible that Sulphur was the cause of an aggravation. Therefore, I suggest you start with 12C, follow the prossedyre as I suggested. And, forgot to say it, but it is best to buy the medicine in liquid.

Some info about Calendula.

External use

* It is used to treat conjunctivitis, eczema, yeast infections, herpes, gingivitis, ringworm, athlete's foot, varicose veins, and other minor injuries and skin problems.
* Calendula is beneficial in the treatment of nappy rash and cradle cap in babies, and sore cracked nipples in nursing mothers.
* In cases of slow-healing wounds, as well as burns, eczema, hemorrhoids and dry skin, it is most effective.
* It is ideal in for dry, dehydrated, irritated and delicate skin as the saponins and mucilage has humectant properties.
* Due to the presence of carotenoids in its chemical composition, it has great re-epithelizing properties – making it ideal for general healing, wound healing, eczemas as well as fighting the signs of aging.
* The presence of essential oil and salicylic acid gives it an antimicrobial and anti-oxidizing action, which results in an antiseptic action great for any infections, including acne.

im just waiting for it in the mail. i also bought some cand. oil and have been using that along with some neem oil and homeopathic cream. it has at least made the inflammation go down some as well as the crusty/scabbing. but his itching is still so bad at night, he wakes up soo much! :(

helloo, i will repost from other thread....

no i havent parkaletos! ive been waiting to hear back from you ;-) i just went in to the store to buy some cranberry pills etc for a UTI infection and she said to try this instead, the eczema part for my son was just a fluke... or mayb not related at all. it could be partially... as bacteria are one of the causes for severe inflammation on the skin of eczema. I got his flare up under control now though, it got really bad by itself ... arms covered! moved to chest, back , stomach, legs etc. I have the remedy you asked me to get, we are going to mexico in a few days so i will talk to you when i get back. mayb we should wait to do treatment when a flare up occurs again? or proceed anyways?

Hello.
Sorry but I have not received any notification that you have written to me: (
In fact, I waited, and wondered why you did not answer my last message.

Can you explain what the situation is now?
Please, do not use this cream, homeopathic, it will interfer with the treatment. Use calendula, preferably as a cream.

Are you going on vacation in Mexico? Go to the beach? Possible the salty sea can soothe the rash. Maybe just as well wait till you come home from Mexico? But you decide.

But I do not understand why you took this other medicine, what would it be good for, and who suggested that you should take this? You should use Ignatia. But now you must wait until the effect of this other medication has stopped. Takes a couple of weeks. Do not take any other medicine while you are breastfeeding your son.

As I wrote above, please give me an update.

oh, i was wondering about you! ;-)
I took the other medicine because i had a bad bladder infection, and under the law that like cures like she wanted me to take the remedy similar to the bacteria present. this is better alternative for me than taking antibiotics from doctor...
I have only took ignatia once, and stopped as we were focusing on my son more.
ok i will talk to you when i get back,
thank you talk soon!

helloo how are you!?
we are back from holidays now! :) i have come across some illness since tho. i dont know if it is kidney stones or a urinary tract infection or both. but it started as a dull ache in the bladder area. Than an aching in the flanks (kidney region). than it went away and came back with severe kidney pain with painful urination.. hurting most at the end of urination. It does not feel like i have to pee all the time.. and nothing comes out like a typical urinary infection. i have had the aching for weeks and tried natural ways. my urine culture came back with only strep b bacteria.. not the typical UTI infection culprit but may be the cause? i have had kidney pain attacks 3 times in the last year. my doctor put me on amoxicillin antibiotics he said it is ok to breastfeed but i dont want baby to get any of the medicine so i have been pumping. .i have been on for two days now. kidney still aches but not as bad. what do you recommend? could you please help me? i also have the medicine sulphur 12ch for baby
