Peanut mystery

I have always has pretty good relationship with peanuts, but recently I've become a peanut monster! They taste great, but have many calories, so I was wondering, what is it in peanuts that my body wants so badly? Is there any way to get that nutrient/mineral without consuming so many peanut-calories?
Thank you all for your advice.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
That isn't how we look at it from a homoeopathic perspective. The reason behind a craving is not relevent to us, the craving itself merely becomes a pointer towards a specific remedy we may want to prescribe.

The remedies known to crave peanuts are Baryta-mur, Benz-phos, Magnesium-iodatum, and Sulphur. There are also other remedies that crave Peanut butter specifically.

Food cravings are not, however, usually reliable indicators for prescribing in many cases, as food desires are often moulded by our external environment (advertising, peer pressure, upbringing etc).
