Otosclerosis
Hi,Thank you in advance for your time. I am 33 aged Male from India. I suffered with Otosclerosis and I have undergone stapedectomy surgery in India sucessfully to both of my ears 5years ago and now my ears are working fine. But I am suffering with continuous Tinnitus in my left ear. Sometimes the Tinnitus is in high pitch and sometimes it is low pitch. Before operation itself I have Tinnitus in my left ear. But even after post operatin my Tinnitus has not reduced and it is continuing. I am not sure whether the Tinnitus is because of Otosclerois or it is because of trauma on my left ear. When I was at the age of 21 years my friend beaten me very strongly on my left ear. My mother and my uncles(mother brothers) also have hearing problems. Please let me know is there any medicine in homeopathy to reduce the Tinnitus in my left ear. I have gone through some of the forums on Otcosclerosis in ABC Homeopathy. But I am not sure which medicine I have to take. Please suggest best medicine which I can use in Homeopathy.

I'm 32 yrs old and this past december (2006), I had the procedure performed in my left ear -- the recovery is still in progress and while it hasn't been easy, I feel it's progressing slowly. I've been out of work for 3 weeks now and plan to take some more time off to fully recover. My main problems right now, are 1) ringing in left ear -- that at times becomes louder in the operated ear..I noticed that as my heart beats faster, my ringing becomes louder -- not sure if they have a connection, but thought I'd mention it. 2) balance, like I said, it's been 3 weeks or so now and my balance hasn't fully restored itself. The doctor said, that I should expect to feel unbalance while I am recovering. Apparently, there was some mild inner ear irritation and this is causing my inbalance, but that it should work itself in time....These two are currently the things that worry me the most --- I can't making a living if I constantly unbalanced -- and as for the ringing, well that scares me that it will stay forever too...I guess, I need to have more patience...I'd like to know if this is normal -- have others who have elected to have the operation, continue to have loud and rather annoying ringing...almost screeching sound..thank you for your time.
