Daktersaab and other experts- Plz clarify about homeopathy

Hi,
I have read that homeopathy is a treatment based on like kills like, i.e. medicines which initiate certain symptoms if taken by a healthy person, can cure a person experiencing similar problems.
So i want to know that what would happen if a person taking such medicines gets cured but still keeps taking those medicines, will the person start facing those same problems again and the process gets cyclic.
The problem i m facing made me curious about this issue, i want to discuss my problem but only after being answered satifactorily.
So plz reply all u learned there.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
If you are taking a homoeopathic medicine that cures you, and you continue taking it, you will either start to develop similar symptoms to the ones you had cured, or you will get other symptoms that are related to the remedy.

A medicine must be stopped when a patient has achieved a state where the symptoms have vanished or they can become quite sick. After a prolonge period of taking a remedy that you no longer need, it is possible that new symptoms will graft themselves on to the vital energy, creating a new illness.
