Dear Archana,

Do you apply any deodrant, talc. powder, perfumes etc.
If your answer is 'Yes', you need to stop all these.

Tip:
Please add 1-2 tea spoons of rose water in your last rinse while having bath 'OR' Just take rose water in your palm and apply it on your face hands after bath.
Please include water mellon in your daily fruit menu.

Dear Nikkie,

Today is my 3rd day of the medicine.

The perspiration is not as heavy as yesterday ...

Just to let u know, i donot have a homeopath chemist close to my place & hence it usually takes a couple of days for me to get the medicines, especially since i prefer to use dr reckwig. So if there is any continuity that i need to maintain in medicines, please do account for the delay

Let me know if i should continue Phytolacca B

Regards
Archana

Dear Archana,

Please continue with Phytolacca B. You are supposed to take this medicine for total seven days in lenght (Do keep update during this period).

Dietry Tip:
Take two glass (slightly warm) water, add half lemon juice and Honey. Mix it properly and take this very first thing in the morning empty stomach. But if you are taking spinach then dont take this. Now you have option , but both have different benefits...:-)

> Please let me know the texture of your hair now (dull-dry,lustrous)?

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Archana,

You have to stop the medicine for next seven days.

Please Update the following:

1) Sweating.
2) Dandruff.
3) Hair fall.
4) Eyes.

In next 1-15 days, keep a track on the above symptoms and update me accordingly.
In short, do you see any visible progress which is worth sharing.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

I've stopped the medicines as advised.

Sweating is just the same.

Dandruff & hairfall - i guess its the same,

Will keep u posted, please do let me know on the # days i need to have the water + lemon + honey

Dear Archana,

Water , honey and lime can be had for 15 days in a stretch.

1) Do you apply any face pack (what base it is ie. mud, fruit etc).
2) How many times in a week you wash your hair with shampoo?
3) Do you give oil massage to your hairs. explain the entire process ?

Hair care tips during this period:

1) Make sure your scalp is clean you can use shampoo in diuted form.
2) You will not give any oil message to your hairs/scalp.
3) After shampooing your hair or cleaning your hair with water ,when the hair is wet, take some oil in your palm gently apply on the hair ( no massaging) make sure you apply to all the hair and just leave it. You are not going to rub you oily palm on the hairs instead you will just slide your oily palms on the hair surface. No need to touch the root of the hair with your palm. Also make sure you dont tangle your hairs in this process. Once oil application is over wait for 5-10 minutes then slowly comb your hair ( make use of bigger comb), once comb slides freely you can stop combing.
4) No need to comb your hair every hour.
5) each time you see your hair is dry just wet the hair with water spray or wash your hair with normal water ( shampoo if reuired) then follow the procedure as explained above.
6) Any herbal brand shampoo with anti dandruff property will do.
7) Look for Non greesy hair oil, no other oil is recommended.
8) You will not use warm water for cleaning your hairs. Normal tap water is recommended.

Update me once, after following the above steps for scalp cleaning.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

1. I use Neutrogena face wash & a moisturizer with SPF 15. Use mud based face pack once a week, its a local indian brand which is completely ayurvedic
2. Wash my hair, with tap water twice a week with Johnsons baby shampoo.
3. Process of Hair wash : use oil (only on hair) 30 mins before shampoo. Use dove conditioner for 5 mins on the hair & tips, rinse with tap water.
I dont use oil on scalp at all.
If hair becomes excessively dry use a home made pack of ripe banana + egg yolk + 1 tsp honey. keep it on for 30 mins & shampoo

Will follow your hair care tips.
However, i find shampoo's with anti dandruff property too harsh on hair, since my hair is as it is very dry by nature.

Archana

Dear Archana,

Thanks for the update.

Follow the following:
1) For time being stop face pack. No mud face pack till your dandruff vanishes out.

2) For Time being Stop home made pack for your hair.

3) Stop oiling your hair 30 min before. In other words no oil on your dry hairs.

4) Use shampoo which is for dry and dull hair. Do the way explained in above post. you hair will regains it lost softness and luster in weeks time.

5) It is ok, you can ignore anti dandruff shampoo stuff.

6) The main reason to wash your hair is to get rid of the dry visible flakes and try to track after how many days it reappears on the scalp.

7) Never use any warm blower to dry your hairs, let it dry naturaly ( direct sunlight too should be avoided).

8) Finaly for your face pack, Just apply mix of honey with few drops of lemon, leave it for 15 minutes rinse with cold water, thats all. No need to go for mud pack in winter.

I need one update for your hair, where in you washed your hair, applied nogreasy hair oil and let it dry naturaly, aftr 15 minutes how was the texture of your hair ( was it soft to touch) ? Each time you see your hair is dry just wet it apply oil the way explained in previous post. This will keep norishing your hair as and when dryness resurfaces. Office environment dehydrates your hair, that is the time when you need to be careful. Each time you feel it is going dry just a slight spray of water and oil will do the trick.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Archana,

Missed something ! You told SPF 15, so it is a sunscreen, sorry you have to avoid this. Just face wash, will do. Since it is winter you can use 1 drop of good oilfree moisturizer 30 minutes before moving out. Once inside the office wash your face with cold water and just one drop of moisturer. You have sweating problem, under no circumstance i want your pores to be blocked with any sunscreen or heavy makeup or oily creams etc. Let the pores be free from all these stuffs. Hope you are not using any night creams ! Dont worry since you are not moving in direct sunlight there wont be any harm to your skin.

Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

An update,

1. I use Jonhsons baby shampoo
2. the dry flakes usually start coming from day 2 or 3
3. I tried the oil on damp hair as you suggested, however i used olive oil & i think it was bit heavy, since my hair seemed greasy & not soft after that.
I've got baby oil & shall try that on sunday & keep you updated
4. I dont use a dryer & exposure to the sun is minimal
5. I dont use any night creams

Moving forward :

my 7 days gap get over on sunday, which is the 6th. I would be travelling for 4 days from sunday nite to thu morning, so from mon until wed i will not be able to check mail, so plz adv :

1. do i have to restart the medicine & from when
2. during my travel, there could be significant exposure to sun during the day, so do i use the sunscreen or just the moisturizer

Just needed to know are there are aggravations or symptoms to using this medicines

Thank you so much for your help & guidance

Regards
Archana

Dear Archana,

> Use Shampoo meant for Dry and dull hair.
> Use Hair Care Nonsticky Oil.
> Use Moisturer (Lotion based for Normal skin) non greasy any herbal brand. Just one drop thats all for your entire face after washing it with cold water.
>Though it is winter season sunlight wont be that strong but if you are travelling to south, keep flashing you skin with water or wet towel. Dont worry your skin wont get any burns.
> And yes if, moving on the beach in direct sunlight cover your entire exposed body part with SPF 25 sunscreen (only in case if the heat is too much).

Dont restart the medicine we can wait for your return.

Nikkie.

Dear Archana,

Any update during your tour related to your scalp or skin.

> If you are on move or you feel your hair scalp is exposed to polluted environment there is no harm in washing the hair on daily bases ( need base).

Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

There was no adverse change since i was travelling to the country side, with minimal pollution.

There certainly has been a difference in hairfall as well as dandruff. Usually by the 3rd or 4th day i have a crusty later around the nape of my neck. This time around it still hasnt come around.

Also, i changed my shampoo to Dove (anti dandruff) it was the first wash.

Regards
Archana

360degrees last decade
Dear Archana,

Please start with repeat dose of Phytolacca B. You are supposed to take two doses in a day for three days and then stop.

Once a while anti dandruff is ok. Try tracking after how many days the dadruff reappears on the scalp.

You will be using shampoo each time when you want to have a hair wash (need base) else simple water wash is ok. Try tracking the frequency of anti dandruff shampoo you are using. Is it 2 times a week or three times a week ........
You will be keeping two brands with you, anti dandruff (need base) and shampoo for dry and dull hair for normal wash.

The day when you start using antidandruff once a month or once every two month ....:-) :-) we can say we made a progress.

Uptil then keep updating.

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

Thank you & i shall keep you posted.

I've fundamental query. Is there a cure for dandruff or is it that we just control it. What about hairfal, how much does dandruff affect the hair & its health, will i getback at least some of the density that i had ?

Are there any next steps for regaining my hair growth.

Thank you once for more for your help.

Regards
Archana

360degrees last decade
Dear Archana,

Why just some of the density of hair ? You will have lustorus and good density hair. But remember ! Dietry tips should be strictly followed (and also the hair wash tips) followed by medicine.

Treatment your are geting is for the Dadruff-Hairfall-Excess sweating and Strong immuine system followed be strong digestion.

Your update should have the following contents:

1) Hair fall: Is it still appearing, how much time it takes to reappear, how many times you used anti dandruff shampoo, how many normal wash you had taken, did you followed the oiling tips for the hair after wash, did you stopped massaging your scalp.
2) Dandruff volume.
Is there any mark improvement in the dandruff, is it itchy, do the flakes fall from your scalp, are they visible on your scalp.
3) Sweating.
Is there any improvement then what it was before. Did you stopped using sunscreen or any other cream on your face. Did you stop using mud base face pack ( or any other face pack as advised).
4) Any new symptoms worth mentioning.

Have a Healthy day :-)

Regards,
Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

As per advise today was the third day of my dose. following is the update

1. I am following your guidelines. i shampoo once a week using a normal shampoo. i've not yet tried washing hair with just water. However i definitely feel the need to shampoo after about a week. I've never massaged my scalp with oil even in the past. Now i after a wash i take a few drops of baby oil & glide them through my wet hair
2. Dandruff appears around the 2nd or the 3rd day of the wash, itchy feeling continues, it never falls from the scalp unless i scratch. it just forms a crust on the scalp. it apprears in small rings along the hairline and feels crusty on the nape of the neck. Its more prominent along the hairline, nape of the neck & crown.
3. Hairfall is ditto, so far
4. I feel my sweating has increased, both on my palms as well as underarms. I noticed on more thing, my sweating increases when i am doing something that requires concentration. like today i was on a phone call with a client for 20 minutes over an issue & when i put the phone down, my palms were dripping with sweat, the receiver where i was holding was full of sweat.
5. For the face, i've stopped using mud pack. i dont use a sunscreen. however, i use a dot of oil free moisturiser once after my face wash in the morning, since my skin feels streched. I use indian home made whole gram flour mixed with water for face wash. At times i use a dot of aloe vera gel by body shop.

Please advise.

Regards
Archana

Nikkie.

Dear Nikkie,

Am following the wash tips. just resumed the warm water + lemon + honey therepy in the morning.

The are not exactly rings, they are like semicircles, sligly creamish to yellowish in color, if itchy & i scrtch unknowingly then they turn reddish.
