Irresolution .......David Kem. help

I need to understand about this ..
usually some people i come across.. they weigh both pros and cons to such an extent that they are unable to decide and so therefore need not take any action cause of the stopping impulses.
Say a person has an ideal profession to achieve, but his mind comes up with so many negative thoughts that he weighs them and no decision is made in the end..

Nagative impulses may be say what if i do it, life is too short why to go for such and such.., it would be waste to money etc.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
I am unsure of what the question is here. Are you looking for rubrics?

So this is a case? Taking the symptom out of context doesn't help me. It is the totality that decides what any single symptom means.

Anything I come up with from this would be a guess, and would not be of use to you.

My questions to a person who started a case this way would be:

What is the experience of making a decision?

What is the experience of needing to take action?

Describe your negative thoughts?

What holds you back from making a decision?

Tell me about a time in your life when you made a definite decision?

What happens when a person makes no decision at all?

Those kinds of questions might provoke more about the behaviour. Of course those answers would be need to be placed in the totality alongside the other important parts of the case, so that together they would make sense.

Irresolution as a characteristic is found in over 200 different remedies. Each one would have its own flavour of the problem.

Almumina suffers from an identity crisis and relies on others to make decisions for them.

Baryta-carb cannot accept the responsibility of decisions and like a child leaves them up to others.

Anacardium is always torn between two options - right and wrong, and feels stuck between them unable to decide.

Arg-nit fears making a decision because of the risk involved, and because of their impulsiveness - they fear making the wrong decision in a moment of crisis.

Ignatia cannot control their emotional state, one moment one idea seems best to them, the next the opposite - they swing back and forth because of this emotional instablity.

And so on for all remedies. Each one with its own type of irresolution, which otherwise is a common human problem like Headache or Itching.

What is the experience of making a decision?

Experience of making a decision is positive and fruitfull. The area in which one goes to decide is the dream to achieve,
the decision he thinks would increase the knowledge as well as its applicablity many folds and he would be much better placed in comparison with his present job.
, but coming out of that shell of comfort is bit troublesome which usually keeps one holding in execution.,

What is the experience of needing to take action?

Creating difficulties in the present circumstances in order to to achieve the dream,
breaking the shell and shakles and going for achieve dream

Describe your negative thoughts?

what if this what if that happens,
money matters, family matters but most important'
Putting yourself in trouble and getting out of comfortzone '

What holds you back from making a decision?

Staying calm in the present circumstances and not going for experimenting,

Tell me about a time in your life when you made a definite decision?

The present circumtances (profession life )is the result of a definite decision made to pursue a career in it, and is a result of hard work.

What happens when a person makes no decision at all?

life would go on but the knowledge and understanding would not improve, person would not be able to achieve what he dreams, of having to have a command over the knowledge to apply otherwise

he fears he would fail to apply knowledge properly,

The key phrases to be explored here might be:

Breaking the shell

Breaking the shackles

Other than that I can't see anything particularly peculiar or unusual in those answers.

It is possible the remedy will not be found by exploring that symptom at all. The rest of the case would determine the choice.
