pain in the hip and upper leg muscles
due to lower lumbar vertebrae problems (herniated disk? a burr irritating the nerve exit?...). what would be a good remedy for pain and or for curing the cause. i've had some small injuries to the area long ago and now at the age 60 there is a flare up.darliance on 2005-07-23

Probably inflammation, first thing is to look at your diet.
Avoid , sugars, fats , alcohol, red meat,,, eat lotsa veg and fruit. Boring isnt it?.
You could also try Picric Acid 30 one dose a day for 3 days ONLY and then STOP, and wait 2/3 weeks to gauge results.
