pyrexia high esr/rf/crp
My mother is suffering from fever from last three months.The problem started with acute pain in legs, cough. After few days she got fever. She had taken medicines for 5-6 days but no respite.
Then she was diagonosed with Typhoid , treated for 15 Days, symptoms was dry cough, chills & fever. At that time, widal was positive and TLC was 11200, ESR-42. After treatment she was okay & resumed office. After 3-4 days, she again fell ill. This time she continued med. from local doc for 10 days but no relief. After that we contacted the medicine consultant , & got blood test done. The reports were TLC- 17200, ESR - 135 10-15 Leukocytes in Urine R/E. Doc. advised admission in hospital. She got admitted , treated with wide spectrum of antibiotics including Tazobactum & pepercillin for 5 days & Meropenem for 2 days. However, TLC & ESR not improved, discharged from hospital. Same symptoms continued chills with fever of 101. At the time of hospitalisation, other tests reports were all negative including typhidot, blood culture, Rapid-M , CT-Chest, USG, X-ray Chest, Montoux.
After that we consulted other physician, & he advised to go for RF test. RF came out highly elevated-552. He advised Medrol 80 Mg stand & advised for repeat RF, ESR, TLC, & Anti-CCP after 10 Days. Fever with chills continued for these 10 Days. After reevaulation the ESR was 110, TLC-15000, RF: 391, Anti-CCP-3.1. Doc advised Ivepred-16Mg for 5 Days followed by 8Mg for 5 Days, then 4 mg for 5 days. After administering the first dose, the fever gone & now she has no fever & feeling perfectly alright. As medicine stopped, the same symptoms continued, i.e. Fever, Pain in Legs, Shoulders with fever of 102. Doc is saying she needs more evaluation as it may be a case of SLE , collagen disorder or lymphoprolierative disorder.
Doctor reordered following tests:
TLC-18000
ESR-91
CRP-138
Serrum Ferritin-214
CPK-58
LE Cells - Negative
ANA - negative
CECT ABDOMEN- NORMAL (Few hypodense lymphnodes along messentry wall largest measuring 12X8 MM Size)
Now doctor has given Naprosyn (TID) with which fever has subsided (med continuing), but lot of pains in legs, arms, shoulders & jaws.
Doctors till now are unable to diagnose. We want to take help of homeopathy for resolution of the situation as it provides Constitutional treatment.
Kindly help us.
Kindly suggest possible diagnosis/medication.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
this is a case of tuberculosis,do not beleave lab reports ,scanning reports,stop all medicines, wait some days,when fever c0mes,start this medicines, rx akurit---4 tabs on early morning inj streptomycin-intramuscular-daily once- above medicines continue 5 days

As you are saying this a case of TB. However, no Doc till date has confirmed it , as we have consulted some super specialties of Pulmonary diseases of AIIMS. All tests like chest X-Ray,CECT CHEST,ABDOMEN, MONTOUX has been done, but nothing came positive.
Kindly guide.

1) State your Age -Sex -Height-Weight-Job-Location?
2) Explain in details the chief complaints?
3) What is the duration of illness?
4) If you have Thyroid functioning complications, please explain?
5) If you have blood sugar, do mention the clinical details?
6) Do you have digestion problem? Explain in details.
7) Do you face any problem in bowl movement? Any constipation symptoms?
8) Do you feel thirsty? How many glasses of water you drink every day?
9) Do you feel good in warm or cold or humid climate? Which climate aggravates your problem?
10) Do you have any stress? Explain in details.
11) Do you get normal sound sleep?
12) Explain in detail about your mood?
13) Any problem with you periods? (For females)
- Are the periods early, regular or late in general? How long do they last?
- Do you suffer from any kind of physical or mental discomfort before, during or after the periods?
- Is the flow scanty, normal or excessive?
- Is the blood thick bright red or pale watery?
- Do you notice any clots in the flow?

My father has had unlimited diagnostics for PUO including PET tests , but everything is negative. He is having fever since three months now, and has been advised to start Anti TB medicines. His ESR is 80 and CRP is 95, and he has fever and sometimes complains of chest and shoulder pain. All TB tests are negative.
What Helped you might help me. Can you suggest anything.
