speech uninteligibility

My 5 year old has speech intelligibility issues due to fast rate. Many syllables get dropped off as well as words left out of sentences. She is active, irritable, and can be agressive -pushing or hitting. She is very impatient, at school she shouts out answers during circle time. She is very bright, has a fantastic memory, and is creative. Has anyone dealt with expressive language delays? Her receptive skills are age appropriate and above, but her expressive skills are really holding her back socially.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Her medicine is Stramonium-30 and if it does not work you need Belladonna-30.

One of these medicine must work perfectly. Each medicine must have some effect but one must be perfect.

Medicine would work only if kid is aware of her problem and is willing to resolve the issue. So during the course of treatment make kid aware of this problem. If kid is willing to resolve the issue, both medicines would give kid a momentum to help her self.

Recently there was a similar case which I treated & the child got better with Belladonna & strammonium. The anger in the child may be because the child is not understood properly( being intelligent, it angers him/her). Also along with homeo, Agrimony was also presceribed for this child & he showed remarkable improvement in a few days time.

WILLWAY-What potencies and how often was the Belladonna and Stramonium administered in the similar case you had? Our homepath suggested hyoscyamus, but our child has none of the sexual references associated with that homeopath. We tried cicuta with alot of aggravation and irritability. I feel stramonium sounds right too. What is agrimony?

Chewing on things may be taken as a milder fom of the tendency to bite; in which case Bell seems more appropriate. try Bell 200c 3 doses for 3 consequetive days. Just wait & watch your child for any changes in her behaviour. If the anger & irritability aggravates initially, do not worry. 200c is a safe potency for children.

Agrimony is a folwer remedy. it is given to enable people to express themselves in a positive way, instead of bottling it up inside. They usually have a cheerful attitude. in a child's case , it may be that the child understands a lot but he/she may not be able to communicate his/her feelings which can be frustrating to the child.
Agrimony can be given in pills 3pills 2 times a day.

Think of Strammonium if symptoms change later.

I have ordered the belladonna and the agrimony, and will let you know how it goes. The agrimony came in a liquid form. Her behavior is worse on the hyoscyamus, though her speech initially seemed a little better, it got worse. Thanks.

willway- We have one more day of the 3 day belladonna doses. My daughter's behavior is much better, but so far the speech seems pretty much the same. Should we stop after three days or continue until there is more normalized speech. She had a little diarrehea the second day, may be a detox symptoms but that was it. We are also giving the agrimony. Thanks.

Since Bell seems to be acting, we will wait & see how it progresses. The results can start showing anytime from a week to a month. Please cotinue the Agrimoy. You can stop the Belladonna now & wait & watch before we proceed to the next one. Please Keep us posted. Maybe a weekly review would be better.
