Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation

Hello,
I've been suffering from post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation forever -- when I was a kid, if mosquito bit me, I'd get a blue mark on my skin.

Now whenever I get a pimple or one of my sebaceous cysts flares up on the chin, I get light-purple marks on my face that turn brown when exposed to sunlight.

They go away when I peel the skin, so they're clearly superficial but it's getting more difficult to peel the skin and it renews slower, now that I'm almost 33. By the way, sunburn works well for peeling skin but that can't be good for me in the long term :)

I'm white, female, have a regular period, and these things trigger acne/cysts:
- vigorous workouts (I'm guessing due to the extra testosterone)
- stress (big time)
- lack of sleep
- acidic body (when I eat junk)
- picking skin/pores (it's a compulsion)
- pharmaceuticals of any kind, especially anaesthetics
- dental infection (this causes breakouts on just one side of my face and I'm dealing with the infection, looking for treatments -- if you have homeo-suggestions for this as well, please advise).

Thank you in advance!

Thanks, Nikki!

Here's a picture of a large hyperpigmented area on my forehead

I don't really have acne, it's just one or two pimples at a time and not all the time. What you see is an accumulation spots over time!

Don't know my hemoglobin count, will try to get a test but that'll take a few days.
