Help for tinnitus?
Hi all, I am trying to find a remedy to help ease my tinnitus.I have been suffering with it on and off for 15 years, but lately it has become a lot worse and more frequent.
From my own research it would seem that Lachesis might be the remedy for me, but I was hoping for some more experienced advice on this.
Also the tinnitus is in my right ear - and from what I have read, Lachesis is mainly a left-sided remedy?
The tinnitus is like a vibrating, quick-hammering noise. It comes and goes, and does not seem to be triggered by anything in particular. The only way I can relieve it is by pushing my finger right into my ear and pressing.
Any thoughts on this would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Lucy

Does anyone have any ideas on this? Please? I'd be really grateful for any responses to this.

Can try Rhus tox 200c 3-5 doses as one dose per day in a row fir 5 days at morning 30 min before meal at empty stomach. Report me after 7 days then. Do not need to go for Lachesis or higher remedies like that for this types of problems.

Simone thanks for letting me know about this case - very kind of you .
Lucy - i have seen a positive effect of lachesis with my patients who experience hot flushes during menopause. Tinnitus is sometimes related to the water retention that comes with the menopause. Can you please confirm that you are going through menopause, your age, weight and other symptoms you experience - past illnesses no matter how insignificant you feel they are.
also please advise me if you suffer from cramps, edema of the legs and feet.
i understand and sympathise with your ailment and will do all i can to help - i urge other members to do the same.

Hi Santino,
Many thanks for responding.
I am a 39 yrs old female, and am not in menopause, I still have a regular monthly period.
I am 119lbs (54kg) in weight, slim, and physically fit. I do not have high blood pressure, cramps or edema of the legs and feet.
I currently suffer from anxiety, tension and fatigue, with depressive episodes. I have night sweats. My anxiety symptoms are worse upon waking and get better towards evening. I currently take two antidepressants.
The tinnitus came on over 15 years ago - possibly linked to antimalarial drugs. It is a vibrating, fluttering noise, like having an insect in my ear, and I can almost FEEL it.
Happy to answer any further questions,
Best regards,
Lucy
