This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Has she agreed to treatment?

Does she understand the process a homoeopathic remedy will put her through (aggravations, healing crises, stirring up of old problems, bringing subconscious thoughts and feelings to the surface, awakening suppressed memories)?

Exactly what is her commitment to giving up drinking (every alcoholic says they want to, few really mean it)?

Is she currently in or willing to enter a program or support group?

Is she aware that it takes a fairly long time for homoeopathy to cure such a problem, which is usually very complex and involves physical, mental and emotional issues (so it is not 'instant', not ever)?

Treating addiction requires a lot of support from a therapist, whether that is a homoeopath or someone else. Does she have someone she can rely on to talk through the issues as they come up?
