This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
You want a broad-spectrum homoeopathic antibiotic?

There is no such thing in homoeopathy. It runs against the very principles of homoeopathy. The law of similars is the only guide. How could you make one remedy suit everyone, when the law of indiviualization clearly shows us that never happens. It is not up to us, that is part of the natural order of things.

Making homoeopathy more acceptable does not mean making it more like allopathic medicine. That is the way to destroy us. Allopathic medicine has consistently failed to improve the health of our communities. We have more chronic disease than ever before. Why would we want to be more like them? We should be trying to stay as little like them as possible.

Remember it is not just their drugs that are the problem, but their whole philosophy of health and disease. This philosophy (or lack of a coherent system in reality) has caused such a huge problem for us as a society. Rather than diluting homoeopathy and possibly losing what makes us different from them, we should be embracing those differences and defending them.

Where I practice, patients don't want more allopaths. They are looking for a completely different approach. They don't want us to be like them, they are trying to find someone who can see things from a different angle.

Even from a practical point of view, it simply does not work to try and make homoeopathy work like allopathy. If a patient's life is in danger, then the allopaths can use their heroic medicine to save them if we have no time to sort out the case. That is what they are good at. But dealing with just about everything else - that is our strength, a strength we should be looking to nourish and increase.

Dear Dr. Malaker,

One gentleman came to me for his cough and other problems like knee pain. He got relief in knee pain but couldn't get any relief in his cough. i tried many remedies like pulsatilla, calc carb, nux vomica and carbo veg at different points of time. But there was no relief in his cough. He went to an allopathic doctor who gave him a five day course and one year has passed and he still doesn't have any cough. i don't know whether the doctor prescribed him antibiotics or broncho dilators.

Then his nephew came to me. He had chronic cough with dry mouth, much thirst, irritable mind. He had taken lot of allopathic medicines including antibiotics but didn't get any relief. He was given few doses of Bryonia 30 and he got relief in his cough.

i agree with you that if people share their cases that may help other prescribers to widen their horizons.

Regards.

Dear Haran AOA,

I do agree with my colleagues's statements. But I may mention here that I have found Mag.Phos.6x always beneficial in almost all the case. But it is useful in different potencies such as 6x 12x 30c, 200c, 1m on case to case basis.

Haran

Most of the polycrests are broad in action.

Please add calc. carb., Lyc., Tarentula, Merc. to your 'broad' list. There may be more depending upon the situation.
