psychiatric? help

i am a 48 year old male who since the last 20 years has had the habit of sometimes waking up screaming at night during my sleep-this frequency cant be predicted but is generally not more than once every 2 months.initilally i experienced this problem whenever my one hand would fall upon my chest while sleepping( i sleep on the sides) but later it has occured even without this hand on the chest .what could be the cause-i dont have heart disease,i sleep extremely well, have no sleep apnea because i have no overweight problem.
