Spider remedy???

My son is currently working with a homeopath to help with his autism. We've been doing consults over the phone, but I really don't think she gets or understands his issues. At the moment his remedy is medhorrinum and I'm not seeing or feeling any recognition between him and this . We have no violence, just a lot of manic and hyperactive behaviour. He shakes his head and hands and prances up and down in a funny little jig almost constantly. I've been reading a lot recently and the closest remedies I can match to his symptoms are tarantula or hyos. Does this sound vaguely right to anyone or should we stick with medhorrhinum? Thanks muchly for any input
