I request all fellow Indians to post here their experiences on the days of Ganpathy celebrations. Experiences which includes their happy & sad state of mind, the festival fineries and eateries and the abdominal distrubances encountered. The Good and bad physical conditions including injury, mental & physical exhaustion. sleep disturbances. The family get-to-gather's, the emotional conditions of old, young and infants. The satisfaction, the effect and the help it generated in any current state of health and disease. Please try to link the celebrations, various experiences with different homeopathic symptoms and give their tentative indicated remedies.

I remember a few years back there was a mass hysteria of people saying that Lord Ganapathy was drinking milk. It is a miracle. Poeple thronged to Ganeshji's temple to witness it. My family also went along. I noticed that to make Ganapathy drink milk you had to tilt the spoon just that much and it vanished. Yes the milk was simply poured into a receptacle. People could not see it as the idol had the sacred thread and that being white it poured down it.
Someone tried it at home on a idol made of sandalwood. A few drops vanished and there was the sweet smell of Sandal in the room. Actually the wood absorbed some of the milk. Thereafter nothing. The non believing People said that it was a hoax whereas the believing said that they saw it.
Yes it was a hoax. But I still say hat it was also a miracle. When else have you heard of millions of people going to the temple on a single day?? There was so much rush in the bigger temples and the smaller ones also had a crowd. That day Lord Ganapathy really came to earth so that millions could have a dekko at him. Bolo Ganapathy Maharaj Ki Jai.

Thanks for your description. It was wonderful. i remember the incidence. All, law of physics, called surface tension.
Today is the second day of Ganpathy. Some people keep idols of Ganpathy for 1 1/2 day and then submerge it into the river pond or ocean. The sea of humanity is overwhelming.

Yesterday was the 8th day of Ganpthy celebrations, though nothing significant (like immersing) happens on this day, besides the puja / prayers.
Today is the 9th day of the Ganpathy celebrations. Mostly community Ganpathy celecrators keep the Ganpathy for on going days, till final immersion.

Some people immerse their Ganpathy on the 10th day, some on the 11thday which is mostly by community Ganpathy celebrators.
Due to certain calender day and date technicalities, The final immersion takes place tommorrow (11th day).

Today is the last day of community Ganpathy celebrations, which also means that the Ganpathy Idol, last immersions takes place today.
Problems now would be the level of environmental pollution caused by the idol-making-ingredients, chemicalised colors and other puja ingredients and the effect it causes to the marine life.
