Can homeopathy regenerate the optic nerve?

My father suffered a bleeding in the brain and in the optic nerve area, 10 years ago. From then on his sight in that 1 eye has been negligible due to the damage sustained by the optic nerve. Can anything in homeopathy help him? I've heard inosine can help nerve cells regenerate themselves and/or their connections?

Thanks.

If you consume any products with aspartame or MSG, cease to eat them. Both of these are known to negatively affect the condition of the optic nerve. I recommend researching these, for example search using www.google.com for
aspartame optic nerve
and
MSG optic nerve
.

research mostly confirms that inosine is helpful in regenerative process of the peripheral nerves (stroke patients)----
not cns (central nervous system, such as optic nerves)...still researching as to why but no valid data...
