the rhus-tox could help with the ear also if the symptoms fit, esp. if there is a lot of restlessness with the pain. check out the symptoms.

Did the 3 doses in a row- at hourly intervals and then again 2ce after a gap of 4 hrs. each time. Not much improvement at all. May be a verrrry slight reduction in redness/size- hard to say. Do I continue for a couple more days?

Getting Really worried as the days go by ....

yes continue, but now give far less frequently. come back for advice if you ever note worsening instead of improvement.

Samller, redness gone, but lump not fully disappeared. Was down to 2 pills of Rhus Tox twice a day. Now he is down with a runny bottom and the stomach flu - so stopped Rhustox again. Tried phodophyllum for that - did not work - so on allopathy for now. Should I start Rhustox again when he is better?

glad to read of the improvement and sorry to read about the runny bottom!

if the eye problem is still there when he is better then yes start again. Hopefully his runny bottom is now better? erika :)

Dear Erica,
Runny bottom turned out to be a BAD case of rotavirus - kindergaten and all its germs!!Just better today.

Am convinced the rhustox did him good - eye seems a little bigger after no rhus tox for 4 days.Wills tart again after a few days and keep you posted.

Hi - I am sorry not to have looked at your other posts. Unfortunately I am very limited timewise at the moment and am unable to take on more than the couple I am answering at present on the forum. Big sorry - I am sure you will get good help from those already advising on those threads. erika:)

Took a week for the diarrhea to settle down - as I said without Rhustox - the eye has definitely grown bigger - will wait a few more days till he is on his normal diet and energy levels before starting Rhus tox again.

can you put the headings of your other posts in here + the name used for me rather than the forum numbers as it is complicated to search for the numbers - I have to log in repeatedly - with the headings I can call them up more quickly in the search to the left of here. Started Rhustox again - did the 3 times in 3 hrs start last evening. Seems to be marginal or no improvement this morning. Gave him another dose anyway. Will keep it on for th enext few days and report.

No improvement after the initial one - redness on and off - size marginally smaller. Stopped Rhustox af few days age. What next?

I have been following the many posts on this thread and was wondering if my favourite remedy Arnica can help.

It may be worth using for a few days as the redness in the eye may be caused by the blood vessels in the eye being dialated due to some blockage in the capillaries. The Arnica will help to promote the flow of blood in these capillaries and thereby resolve the problem.

I know that this seems to be a long shot but at the worst Arnica cannot cause any aggravation.

May I suggest using Arnica 6c in the water dose and a teaspoonful to be taken twice daily after succussion prior to each dose..

6c water dose I presume is made the same way as the 30 c dose you earlier suggested.

Since Erika has been handling your case I would prefer that she also concurs with my advice.

However in answer to your question the way to go is as follows:

You have to prepare the remedy in a 500ml bottle of spring water you get from your supermarket.
You then pour out about 50ml to create some air on top
You insert 3 globules of the remedy Arnica 6c into the bottle.
You then cap the bottle and proceed to shake or bang it hard to promote aeration of the water. This is succussion which increases the potency of the water which is now your remedy.

You then proceed to give a teaspoonful of the remedy twice daily to your girl.

Please report response in 4 days.
