is it a hemmorhage (blood outside vessels) or extended and visible vessels? Why did you get blood-shot eyes?(overstrained, mechanical injury etc)
| Re: Blood Clot in Eye | From gracey [Log on to view profile] | on 2005-09-20 |
Hello Astra2012,
The hemmorage is in the white part of my Right eye, on the right side of my Iris. It does not effect my vision. I don't see it when I am looking at things. Its only visible in the mirror, like a big brownish speck in my sclera.
I believe it was from stress. I was working very long hours as a dental assistant. I take mercury vivus in varying doses b/c i was exposed to mercury vapors. It has not helped my eye hemmorage though.
Hope that gives you some more clues. Thank You for the help!! gracey

Ledum and arnica are the best medicines to dissolve clot.
| Re: Blood Clot in Eye | From Astra2012 [Log on to view profile] | on 2005-09-20 |
Yes, arnica is a perfect remedy to get blood outside vessels to be cleared out.Hopefully it works here as well.
Do you have any allergies, autoimmuno-dis. any energy sensitivity? If no, get arnica 1M, single dose, in the eve. under tongue, etc - hope you know this stuff.
Arnica works wonders even if something happened long ago-like 3 years. But if your eyes feel overstrained sometimes the first aid remedy may be ruta or euphrasia (=eyebright). | This thread continues beneath the following ad.

My Eyes Feel fine otherwise. Ocassional redness usually when I am up late at night.
Energy sensitivity? I do not know if I have that.
Allergies, yes I have some allergies only after being poisoned with mercury, so they seem to be related to mercury in my system, not really my Immunity.
I will read up on all the remedies.
Thank You both for your help!!

Gracey-if you have allergy or are somewhat sensitive get much lower potency, say 30c. Get a bottle (like 0.5l spring water for example), pour about 1/4th out, drop 2-3 pillules into the bottle, shake and sip(=a dose) 1-2x a day. Stop if any reaction. Shake before each sip.
| Re: Blood Clot in Eye | From gracey [Log on to view profile] | on 2005-09-20 |
Yes, I will start with lower potency, and increase if I need to.
I do not know why I get this popped blood vessels in my eyes to begin with. I just realized that I had gotten another today in my left eye. They usually go away, but they are blood-red, big splotchy marks. They usually go away except for the ones in my right eye. That was a severe case.
I hope one of these Arnica or Ledum. will help me. I have many characteristics in both Symptom Pictures.
Thank you Astra2012!! | | |

I seem to have the same thing. One day I woke up with a red eye. After not going away for a few days I looked closely and saw the little round 'bubble' in the white. After a week or so I went to an eye doctor. He said it was a hemmorage or could even be an anurism (sp?). Gave some drops for moisture and said to leave it alone and it should go away. It hasnt' so I read these posts and bought some Arnica Montana 30X. I've been taking it for a week or so 4 X a day and no change. Wondered if the original post noticed her eye cleared up with the Arnica? Any other suggestions or have I not taken it long enough? Also, does it hurt to use mouthwash once a day? I read you shouldn't take peppermint and the mouthwash is pretty strong. Anthing else?

I don't know that the last few questions have much bearing on this situation. I have been the same as I am throughout my life and this is the first time something like this has happened. I do get irritation and I like to do things quickly but I am not irrational about either, it is just my nature. I'm not a fanatic like a work-a-holic or anything. I chill out pretty quickly.

This AM after my chores, I took my bp again (the last time was last evening). This AM it was 152/85. But, I was also thinking, I think those were generic quesitons you posted. I think they would be appropriate for an overall health assesment but am not so sure all that information is necessary for this case. The reason I say this is related to why I started looking into homeopathy again. A few years ago I woke up in the AM with a small, hard lump in my wrist right where the pulse is located. Felt like a small piece of broken bone but there was no pain. I left it for a while, changing my diet, etc and nothing changed it. I asked a doctor about it. He said it was a ganglion and don't worry about it. I had it for 9 months then decided to check out what homeopathic remedy would be advised. Searched on the internet and found one place that said ruta grav., 3 tabs, 2 times a day for 15 days. OK, worth a try. And 14 days later, no hard lump. It completely went away. And, to me, a much more intelligent solution than my doctor's. This seems like the same sort of thing to me. A small lump which is called a hemmorage by modern medicine. I figured there would be some simle remedy for it, which would not require this thorough, overall assesment of my life.

One thing I thought of which may or may not have bearing on it. I have been going to acupuncture. I asked him if he could put needles in my head as I felt the energy was blocked. It felt good but the muscle at the back of my neck to my head was stiff for a few weeks. It was just a day or two after that I got this thing in my eye. I was thinking maybe the energy released caused it. It took 3 weeks for the neck muscle to feel good again and last week I mentioned my eye to him and he put some needles in the head again just for the eye and it did feel better and stronger as a whole but the red and the little hemorrhage remain.

I did find something that helped. I went to a naturopathic doctor and he gave me all kinds of vitamins, etc. Which I don't think did much. BUT, the one thing he had me do that DID help was hot and cold 'hydrotherapy'. I did it twice a day.
He gave me a sheet with directions and they used 2 pots. I did my own way. I put some water and a folded wash cloth in a bowl. Heated it in the microwave. I got a diaper (think towel) put water on it and wrang it out then wrapped it around a small bag of frozen vegetables and put in in the freezer again. When the water is hot (don't make it so hot you scald yourself -- his sheet said 104 degrees, but I just did it hot but not too hot). Take the towel out and wring it back into the bowl. Then put the micorwave on timer mode for 3 minutes and put the warm towel on your eye. When that is done, I put the microwave on heat for 30 seconds. Put the hot towel in the bowl, take the veggies with the towel wrapped around it and put in on the eye and hit the heat button. That way you cool the eye for 30 seconds while the towel is re-heating for 30 seconds.
Repeat this 3 times ending with the cold towel.
The timing is important, 3 min. hot, 30 sec. cold and the quick contrast (that is, don't do a lot of things when switching the towels). Take the hot off and put the cold on.
So, 3 switches per session ending with cold and 2 sessions per day.
One AM, I think I broke mine and it filled with blood but I still did the hot/cold and the next AM I woke up and the little round clod was on my cheek and NOT in my eye.
Now, any time my eye feels funny, I do a hot/cold just to be safe.
I hope this works for you.
I mean, he had me take vitamis for Vision Optimization and also some vitamin A from retynil Palmitate and drops and also a cell salt (euphrasia officinalis)which is for conjunctivitis. But the vitamis were for VISION and my vision wasn't really impaired. The cell salts were for conjunctivitis and I didn't really have that. Besides, the health food store had given me the wrong ones so I wasn't even taking the ones he recommended. But the difference maker was the hot/cold therapy.
Hope it works for you. | | |

Hi pdsimdars,
Thanks alot! I am familiar with this process, NOT for the EYE exactly tho. So you really opened my mind. I believe this technique STIMULATES the LYMPHATICS and Circulation to move this clot out!!! I think this is an excellent idea! You're method sounds great. I will try it!
Now, let me understand this. I want to switch temps immediately, one after the other, no wasting time in between. Right!? I can do it.
How many times until you noticed some change? Or did it just all of sudden move out of your eye, all at once, one day?
THANK YOU AGAIN!

Dear Gracey,
I am too late to give a correct remedy for you . I see all the presentation. Not at present you start immediatly Lachesis 200C daily one dose for a month and report me about your bleeding.

| Re: Blood Clot in Eye | From pdsimdars [Log on to view profile] | on 2006-06-03 |
Gracey,
It was not immediate, it was at least 5 days or so.
The switch doesn't have to be instantaneous, just do it when you take the other one off. I mean, you know, you could take the hot one off and then put it in the bowl and then open the freezer to take the cold one out, etc.
Yea, the point was to increase the circulation. That is one reason for the times, 3 min hot and 30 sec cold. If you do either too long it will slow down the circulation. That's what the doctor said. I told him I had already done some with cold for 5 minutes and he said no.

Sharmaji,
Yes, I had posted and there were you and someone else who I sent a lot of information to about myself, answered a bunch of questions. After I did all that, neither replied and gave me any advice.
I finally did get advice that healed it because the answer comes to the seeker who deserves it. But I felt let down by the forum because I had given so many answers to so many quesitons and then got no response.
That was probably a mistake and it is still very good to know that there is such a forum available.

Dr. Deoshlok,
I have taken lachesis 200c for period discomfort and it did nothing for my eye. I have taken many remedies in the past, and also see a hommeopathic doctor. He has given me combination remedies, they halp me most. All these remedies have not yet helped my eye. I will continue with the hydrotherapy which makes the most sense. Since my Lymph is weak in that area and other areas. That is part of my overall health problems...lymph weakness.
Thank you for all your help and suggestions.
