Please start giving her Ferrum Phos. 6X, 2tabs 3 times a day, for 1 week.

This is for nose bleeds.

I would look at it in 3-4 days.

Zady,
Should I get the tablet form ( pellets) or the pill form ( globules )?

Also, do I need to give her the medicine directly on tongue or mix in water ? Does the morning dose have to be empty stomach?

All medications are taken differently in homeopathy, so I just want to check with you.

Also, I have a few Dr. Reckweg homeopathic medications ( liquid form) manufactured in the Year 2000, I got these from India. They don't have my expiry date on them. Could these medications still be effective?

Let me know.
Thank you,
Simran.

These are cell salts. Taken directly on tongue. Pellets or tabs are both ok.
Homeopathy bottles never expire.

Zady,
I have been giving ferrum phos to Astha as you prescribed since 6/28/13.

She had one nose bleed in the morning on 6/30 and her nostril had dry blood on it this morning.

Other then that she seems stuffy these days. When she starts sneezing, she gets 6-7 sneezes in a row. Also, when she gets out of the pool after swimming she sneezes a lot.

Even on days when she doesn't seem stuffy and congested she brings out a lot of mucous from her nose when she sneezes.

Please let me know.
Thank you,
Simran.

Simran25 last decade
Hello,

What kind of mucous is it?

And what is it's color?

Zady101 last decade
She has thick white mucous and sometimes yellow.

Hello Simran,

Please give her a single dose of Nitric Acid. 30

Dissolve 2 drops/5 pellets in 200 ml water, stir several times and give her 1 spoon from this ONCE only.

Please give Ferrum Phos 2 times a day only now.

Please update me after 1 week.

Zady101 last decade
Zady,
I went to two homeopathic stores but did not find nitric acid. Is there another name for it?

I am still giving ferrum phos to Astha. So far, no more nose bleeds.

But she has been stuffy, especially early morning and in the evening. Her nose blocks when she lies down to sleep. She has been sneezing a lot to bring the mucous out. Her mucous is more white and transparent now.

Please recommend.
Thank you,
Simran.

Ok, please put it on hold if there is no no bleed.

I will prescribe another remedy to take care of stuffiness, etc

PS: Remedy name - Acid. Nit.

Zady,
Astha is really stuffy now, she could not sleep properly last night. She is blowing out a lot of mucous ( both white thick & clear watery). She gets more stuffy when she lies down in her bed.

Also, she gets a lot of sneezes (10-15) in the morning and evening time.

Please recommend a remedy for her.
Thank you,
Simran.

Please give her a single dose of Arsenicum 30

5 pellets dissolved in 200 ml water, stirred several times. Give her 2 teaspoons from this ONCE only. Throw away rest of the water.

Zady,
I gave Astha a dose of Arsenicum 30 on July 10 ( afternoon). She felt better by evening and seemed totally fine on July 11.

Then on July 12, she started getting a bit stuffy again. Today she woke up and had a nose bleed, is again sneezing and has a lot of mucous.

Please recommend.
Thank you,
Simran.

Hi,

Although the nose bleeds had stopped, but was she feeling any better?

Or she is feeling better now after nose bleed has reappeared?

Can she tolerate tight clothing around her Neck or Abdomen?

Zady101 last decade
Zady,
Her nose bleeds did not affect her congestion. No matter whether she has nose bleeds or not, she get congested when she lies down on bed.

She is the same behavior wise, temperament wise, congestion wise with or without nose bleeds. She was definitely very happy that she did not have nose bleeds.

She prefers loose clothes. She cannot tolerate tight clothes around her neck, stomach, legs or arms.

Let me know if you need more info.
Thank you,
Simran.

Does she feel any pain at the root of her nose, and on or above eyebrows?

Is it easy for her to sleep in the night?

Zady101 last decade
Zady,
She has pain at the root of her nose when she blows her nose after bleeding. Otherwise, she has never complained about any pain in her nose or on or above her eyebrows.

Sometimes she finds it hard to fall asleep at night and then asks me to rub her forehead for a while so that she can fall asleep.

Simran25 last decade
Ok, please give her a single dose of phosphorus 30

Zady101 last decade
Zady,
Is phosphorous for stuffiness or nose bleeds? Also, is phosphorous different from ferrum phos? I still have to get the medicine, so wanted to confirm.

Also these days, Astha is still stuffy ( but much less than the last two weeks). She hasn't had any nose bleeds in the last few days.

Please clarify.
Thank you,
Simran.

Simran25 last decade
Its primarily for nose bleed, but addresses nose blocking/obstruction
as well.

Zady101 last decade
Zady,
I got phosphorus 30c today.
Should I give phosphorus dissolved in water or directly? Also how many pellets?
Let me know.
Simran.

Simran25 last decade
Hello,

Dissolve 5 pellets in 8oz cup filled with water (approx 240 ml water), stir and take 2 teaspoons or 1 tablespoon from it.

Please update after 5 days.

Zady,
Here is an update on Astha:
I have her a dose of phosphorous 30 on July 21.
Her sneezing and stuffiness improved for 2 days, she is able to sleep properly now but she is still stuffy during the day and still sneezing. No more nose bleeds for the last 10 days or so.

Please recommend what can I do for her stuffiness.
Thank you,
Simran.

Simran25 last decade
Please give her a single dose of Arsenicum 30.
