Please help me heal my child
Hi everyone, I hope you can help me. I have an almost 4 year old who doesn't talk at all. Since he was 18 months when he said his first words I have heard him say many words here and there probably over a 100 different words and mostly repeating what i say. I used to think his receptive language was very delayed but it has been bought to mu attention that he doesn't 'want' to respond rather than nit understanding what I say. He is very reluctant to communicate or interact and although he really wants to interact and enjoys it, something is stoping him from just letting go and enjoying life.I'll give you a few examples:
.I'll ask for a kiss and although he loves receiving affection he will prefer if I came to give him a kiss rather than him approaching me.
.He will say a word by accident and then scream in regret as if he feels guilty for talking.
.I will be playing with him and as soon as he starts to really enjoy the game and starts to laugh, he will scream and stop playing. As if he is stopping himself from having fun and punishing himself.
. I will ask him to give me the TV remote control to put in his favourite show and he will want to watch the show but will scream when he is about to hand me the remote and snatch it back before I can put the show on. He will keep giving it to me and snatch it back for ages before he finally forces himself to allow me to use it.
I don't know if it is more OCD related. Ge has never been vaccinated and was exclusively breastfed as a baby. He has always had diarreah and bad reflux as a baby. I have him on GFCF and a diet hight in protiens and fats.

Thank you for replying. He has been assessed for autism but they have said he doesn't qualify for the diagnosis. I really don't care what label he has but he needs help with his anxiety of talking, interaction ect.
He hasn't had any vaccinations, he was only breastfed as a baby. He is now on an organic diet that is free of grains and milk.

Hi,
Can you think back as to any events that were traumatic for him, such
as you having to leave him with someone else for a short time, anyone
else taking care of him, any accidents or falls, any prolonged illness besides
the gerd, such as a high fever, etc? And how did the birth itself go? any
problems there?
Has he been on any medications for the Gerd or anything else?

Hi simone, the birth was ok other than there a lot of meconium in the waters. He had quite a lot of mucus phleam coming up the first day after birth and didn't take any milk. He a bit traumatised by the birth of his younger brother when he was 20 months and became quite jealous. I also had a lot of family problems during that time because my brother became mentally ill. But I felt he was very delayed even before that. I carried on breastfeeding him while I was pregnant until the milk dried up. He also became quite ill with a stomach bug at 19 months, fever, vomiting, diarreah.

I think someone needs to assess him in person as there are many
more diagnostic tools to use in person, especially with kids.
Some homeopaths who have more focus on children in their practice
will also do skype appts, next best thing to in person.
If you can tell me what country you are in, or what state if usa,
I can give you some options of who you may want to choose to
work with.

I live in london, North. I've already been to 2 different homeopaths. The first one insisted he had glue ear and discharged him after 4 months. The second lady tried many different remedies. Some seemed to help, but i haven't seen any dramatic change despite him being on a very clean diet. I'm on a very tight budget also because i spend so much on his diet, getting everything including all meat organic.
I would consider seeing someone who specialises in speech delay in children.

about video chat/conference treatment as they are In Oregon, USA.
Two practitioners, one an MD and the other an ND homeopath.
Please read the link and the case presented- I would work with
the Naturopath, Dr.Ian Luepker, as he is the one who did that case and the level
of knowledge about speech delay seems quite thorough. I have
found thru the years that some doctors seem to have an affinity
for certain areas and success in those areas and there is a sense
of relief as a parent or patient due to their certainty from having
success in other similar cases.Please check them out and advise of
your finances, see if this will work. I looked at several people , but
I feel this is a cut above all of them. Let me know, I can do more if
it won't work for you.

have a handful of real homeopaths with a practice on here.
