Chronic constipation

Little 4 years old girl with chronic constipation since 2 month old.

Abuse of laxative.

No urge to use the bathroom.

Since 1 year old using Magnezia usta + Lactoza (to help her pass the stool). Now diminished effect.

Every 3 days use microclisma to help her pass the stool.

Stool is hard, sometimes dry, she complaint she cannot pass it.

She is terified of this microclisma.

She puts a lot of effort and takes a lot of time to get the stool out, even if the stool doesnt seems to be very hard.

NEVER HAD diarrhoea.

Please help.

I'll try that thank you.
I was wondering if Bryonia could also work?

I have selected Alumina because you have written that it is difficult to expel even soft stool

What works or not depends on what is causing the constipation. Maybe alumina, but also several other medications may be appropriate.

First of all thank you all for your replies.

Sometimes she says that SHE IS SAD (and looks so), because she cannot pass the stool and other kids can do it very easy.

She also says that she do it so we can be happy (and not for her). It seems she doesnt have the sensation to pass anymore although in the past she had. She used to sit on the pot entire day.

All started since 3 months old, when she began to eat different food including powder milk.
Although I say all began after antibiotic use at 2 months.

She feels better in cooler humid temperature.

She crave for sweets.

Her thirst is normal but sometimes less.

Hunger is normal.

Stool is not always hard, and even if it is thin(not large) it passes very difficult.
It also happened that after 3 days(without stool) the stool was not even close to rectum because after one microclisma she still couldnt pass the stool.

Constipation symptoms are worsen by: meat, bananas.

She sleeps on her belly / on one side.

Major diseases:

1. chronic constipation diagnosed at 10 month old.
2. pneumonia at 3 years old
3. pneumonia at 4 years old
