Remedy for damage to perineum?

Hello,
I have damaged my perineum from riding a bicycle.
I find it still feels beat up months later. I rode it a lot and for a fairly long duration (several months) ignoring the pain I was feeling (lord knows why!).
Libido is definitely affected and that is by far my main concern. Not the persistent pain or injujury (very mild pain at this point). It was not long ago, however, that I would feel very sharp pain occasionally when sneezing as the perineum itself (or something in the area) contracts when coughing or sneezing. The contraction caused sharp pain occasionally.
If you know anything to cure this and bring libido back I'd be much obliged. Poor me!
I have discovered the hard way (or more accurately: the soft way) that bicyclicle seats are basically a meat grinder upon your perineum which, of course, is really the penis but just further down. They are particarly damaging if the seat is higher than the handle bars. I now have a noseless bike seat but the damage has been done.
Jason.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Please have a dose of Arnica 30c, once a day for three days in a row and then report back.

One dose is one pill, dissolved in the mouth.

Thanks Fitness for replying,
I have recently (past couple of days) been taking Ruta Graveleons homeopathy mostly because I read that it helps inflamation or injury to the membrane that surrounds the bone and I have such damage on the bones at the balls of my feet from high impact excersize in bare feet and shoes without great cushioning. Anyway, should I stop the Ruta and wait a few days before commencing the Arnica?
Also. I have taken some arnica over past few months occasionally and it didn't seem to help that much. Some I think. But I was taking a large number of pellets of 30 ch. Maybe if I do the one pellet once a day for three days it could help more?
Thanks for any info,
Jason.

If Ruta is helping continue it, I think you need continued dose of Arnica first and then another suitable remedy.

Don't take two remedies at the same time.

I think I will try staying on Ruta for a week first if you find it a good idea that is. It must have antinflammatory effects just like arnica, doesn't it?
I won't, though, if you think i should get on the arnica as soon as possible.
For the Ruta, should I take one 30 ch pill under tongue once a day? I have the 30 ch.
Thanks for any info.

Imo, you should have Arnica 30c, asap, for at least 3 days, once a day. Then based on the response we will decide what to do.

Thanks.
I'll do that.
Also, I forgot to ask in last post: can I just switch to a different remedy the next day? I mean can I start taking arnica tomorrow?

Yes.

Hi,
Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I was trying to take the arnica for an extended period but I never managed to take it more than three days in a row. I took it 2 or 3 days in a row several times by now. I don't notice a huge change. I still readily get some pain in the perenium if I've been sitting a long time that day. I found that the tiredness and somewhat crankiness, which is a side effect of arnica, made it difficult to ever take it more than two or three days in a row.
Should I make a concerted effort to take it for a month every night?
Is there something that would help revive the nerves in the perenium? I think a deadening of the nerves is the main issue more than inflammation.
Thanks for any info.

Get Arnica 6c and continue it daily, one dose for 14 days and then report back.

Also, Calendula Q (mother tincture) and have 10 drops daily for 10 days.

I shant be able to start this remedy for a few days so I won't get back to you for two and a half to three weeks.
One important question: I can take the Arnica and Calendula at the same time? I mean take both arnica and calendula for ten days and arnica for extra four days apres finishing the calendula?
Also: is there a particularly good time of day to take these things?
One more thing: Did you change the 30,CH arnica to 6 CH arnica because of the tiredness I was experiencing? I don't mind enduring that tiredness for a good cause.
Thanks for your help.

Yes, take both on the same day, one in morning and one evening. One is a remedy, the other (Calendula) is a supplement.

6c is required to avoid aggravation.

Sorry that it has taken a gosh darn long time to get the necessary ingredients for my treatment.
No store seemed to have the Q10 Calendula mother tincture. Or at least it didn't say Q10 or mother tincture on the bottle so the person working at the health store ordered it and actually it still doesn't say that on the bottle. This is a brownish colour of glass bottle and I think it is a homeopathy version of calendula tincture rather than just a herb... which, I'm hoping, is what I need.
Will begin tonight.
I assume it is just one pellet of the arnica per dose?
Thanks.

I finally got the two items that you mentioned. It was difficult to determine what calendula tincture to get because it doesn't say Q10 Mother tincture on the bottles. In the end, the girl at the health store ordered calendula tincture in a brown glass bottle from Boiron. It still doesn't say Q10 mother tincture on the bottle, but we do know that it is a homeopathic tincture rather than just a herb. I hope we got that right?
I started the Arnica 6ch last night and will take the Calendula this morning.
I assume it is one arnica pellet as the dose? I find it is very insignificant and dissolves under the tongue instantly. I don't know if it will do much. I don't mind taking the 30ch and have a bit of crankiness and tiredness side effects as long as it heals the perineum soreness. Should I switch to 30ch?
Thanks for any info.

It would read Calendula Q, there is no such thing as Calendula Q10.

For Arnica 6, continue that, it will work.

I don't have the bottle with me now but I don't remember seeing Q on the bottle either.
Anyway, must be the right one as she asked for the mother tincture when she ordered from Boiron.
However, it comes with a spray/squirt spout instead of a dropper.
Do you know how many sprays to administer for the equivalent of ten drops?
Or should I buy a dropper.
I've been just spraying 2 or 3 sprays under my tongue. It's a 125ml bottle. Probably didn't need that much. I dind't know what size to order.
One more question: Should I try to take these remedies (the arnica and the calendula) a couple of hours away from eating or drinking coffee? Someone once told me that they should be taken that way.

A simple rule for spacing meals and remedies is when you stop feeling the taste of food in your mouth then you can have the remedy. This usually is 15 minutes.

2-3 sprays seems ok.

One more thing:
The bottle says 'Calendula OF'
I guess that might stand for 'original formula' and that could mean 'mother tincture'?

Officinalis

I have the Boiron bottle of Calendula
mother tincture,

It just says Calendula Off and homeopathic tincture in small print
above it. I am sure you have the mother
tincture or it would say a potency.
