Tetanus for 8 yr old please help
I am hoping someone can respond quickly but my son stabbed a dart into his hand whilst picking at an old bike tyre and there is a bit of black stuck in the wound.Would he need a tetanus jab? I am so scared of vaccines etc but tetanus is serious and I have no clue what to do.
Is there a remedy I can give him instead of the vaccine.
Please help ASAP
Many thanks

it is one of the most effective remedy against tetanus.
bellis 30 can be given orally in addition.
keep on interacting with your son for any peculiar feeling of numbness and check his gums, they should not turn blue.
if you notice these symptoms, then go in for the shot.

The thing is you don't get symptoms for 7- 21 days if you get infected from tetanus and you have to have the shot within 24 hours of the injury which is making the decision hard
