Please wait for a week or two.
Homeopathy will not work that well as long as he is under the influence of antibiotics. The levels of chemicals will gradually decrease to normal over a weeks time.
So, I do not recommend any remedy for a week now.

Stop giving your daughter antibiotics every time she has cold.
Give her a constitutional dose of PULSATILLA 200C two doses at 30 minutes interval only on a single day.
This will create a reaction in her and make her more immuned to cold.
For weight gain you can try ALFALFA-Q some 10 drops three times a day 30 minutes before food. Continue this for some days. This is a fat producer and helps in digestion. It is given to weakly children who cannot assimilate food and tend to remain thin and weak.
Give her a constitutional dose of PULSATILLA 200C two doses at 30 minutes interval only on a single day.

Now that I have given pulastilla 30 just last week, when can I repeat this? Can I give her in 15 days? Just wanted to clarify how often I can repeat it. Her nose is running all the time from past 4 months.
Currently I am giving her cadby - multivitam syrup every day. Can I use alfa alfa along with this?

Yes, you can give alfalfa with any other remedy and other medicines.
Give one dose set of pulsatilla 200C (2 doses) after a week. Then wait and watch her. If she relapses with cough and cold, you can give her a few doses again.
It all depends when she needs it. There is no such rule for repetition of doses.

Hi,
My daughter returned from school with severe pain in the ear. I then gave her pulstilla 200 2 doses with half an hour gap (At 3 pm ist). She was continuously crying and we took her to the doc. He examined and told us that she has boil in the ear and has puss filled in. Its small in size and gave her amoxilin antibiotic and ibrufin for pain. I have given her ibrufin to control the pain.
Please suggest if I can give her anything else and also please suggest if I need to start anti biotic also

No, there is nothing to be given now. The pain killer will reduce the pain for the next few hours.
The boil will heal by itself with time. Antibiotics has been prescribed as a cover from subsequent infection as the skin is exposed at the boil.
I think, if the boil is small, it will heal by itself. Its up to you to decide if you would start antibiotics right now.

She had developed fever too last saturday along with severe ear pain. So I had to start antibiotics. She is normal now but still under antibiotics till tuesday.
Its 6th time in 4 months she got fever and 5 times we used antibiotics.
Can you give me any pointers or any reasons for the fever? Bit worried due to the usage of antibiotics and also her health condition. Is it abnormal to develop fever for every small things? Do we have to perform any tests to know the root cause

Fever is only a response of the body against an infection. However, every fever may not be treated eventually by antibiotics. As you are her mother, it requires prudence on your part in providing her a safe and long term cure.
If you study immunology, you will find that our systems take about 7 to 10 days to build up immunity against a certain strain of virus. If we take full care, i.e. eat well, sleep well, take vitamins, keep ourselves warm and do not exert ourselves much during a viral attack, its likely that within 7 days we would be up and about.
If a child suffers often of cough and cold due to his/her genetic disposition, the immunity can be raised by natural means.
This vicious cycle of antibiotics needs to be broken. Unless we are very sure of a secondary bacterial infection after about 10 days of cold, I am not in favor of giving antibiotics.
In this case, she was suffering of ear pain and as a mother you couldn't stand that so I can understand your concern.

My daughter has phlegm and can hear snoring sound while sleeping. She doesn't have running nose. Every time she has this, she develops temperature after a week. Doctor usually prescribes ascoril ls to loosen it. Is there a medicine that helps the phlegm to loosen and evaporates?

There is nothing wrong with grates. For your son you should wait because he has taken calc carb just 3 days back. If his cold shows some specific pattern, you can describe to me later for symptomatic remedy.
For your daughter, describe all her generals associated with the cold. Location, color of phlegm, modalities, thirst etc.

My daughter has thick greenish phlegm. She is drinking more water thank earlier (not sure if this is due to summer heat)
Her throat is congested and her voice has slightly changed due to this. Has to clear her throat while speaking.

My daughter has phlegm and her throat is congested. When she sleeps, she is breething with her mouth initially and later on she is snoring due to congestion. Her nose is wet and not running much. Thirst is normal
My son doesnt have running nose. He complains of itching in nose and when rubs he start sneezing. He has little cough and seems to be allergic cough which he usually have when sleeping under fan. Thirst is normal

Give her PHOSPHORUS 200C three doses only, each dose 12 hours apart.
You should not give any further dose after that. This will create a response in her and she will be fine in the next few days. Don't get impatient.

I have phosphorus 3 doses. she was fine after a day and last 2 days her nose was completely dry. We are using air cooler as temperature has raised. She was playing around and she again has phlegm which is white in color. Her thirst has increased. Should I use any medicine?
