2yr old with Staph infection..

I had posted a few days ago about my 2 yr old having large bumbs on her chest...We found out, after several tests, that it is the result of a staph infection. She is on antibiotics, and I have to put cream in her nose 3 times a day. I would have appreciated a response, then maybe she wouldnt have had to endure painful tests, lances on the bumps, shots, and numerous other things. But I am glad to report that she is on medicine, and doing well. Thanks, Bethany..

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
Antibiotics!!!.

May cure SYMPTOMS ---- BUT weaken the immune system.

She is on Sulfatrim, twice daily, and Mupirocin ointment in each nostril three times a day..The "bumps" have gone down considerably..they have started to scab over, and are slowly withering away..
