required a best opinion
Hi,,, i m male 23 years old... i am experiencing sleep troubles since the time i took levofloxacin...(4 months ago). i ve read on internet that this condition is called floxed and its a nerve damage and can never be cured i m much much worry about it.....[message edited by awaisilyas789 on Thu, 05 Jun 2014 13:20:50 BST]

Dr.yougesh I have sleep problems let me explain u
1 difficulty in falling sleep particularly at night .. If I sleep then awaking at 3 or 4 am and difficult to maintain sleep again ...
2. Whenever I fall sleep I always get up early in the morning ... Mean not getting full sleep its just 5 or 6 hours max
3 muscular pain throughout the day time
4. Eyes pain throughout the day and weakness feeling ..for the whole day ... Lack of energy throughout the day
5. I feel sleepy in afternoon at 2 or 3 p.m continuously yawning but sometimes get sleep and sometimes not ... Even if I get sleep it is only for one hour or half hour just .....
6.and I m from extreme hot area of Asia .. Here now a days temp is 43 or 44 c .. I feel my boys heats up in the day even at night too ...and 99 F fever when I feels this.... Let me add u one thing I have consult a homeopath the remedy he gave(don't know which one) was of no use ... I took it for 15 days

From what you described, you can try Gelsemium 30ch, for 3 days. each dose before going to sleep. Wishing you quick recovery.

While anything is possible in this world, we know that certain conditions are more difficult to treat. It's hard to say whether is possible to cure it completely, but we know that homeopathy can help in reducing severity of the symptoms and progression of the disease. You should consult homeopath in your area and be more persistent.

Hi Awais, unfortunatelywhat you've read is true. Don't take any notice of the million-and-one suggestions you'll get about 'detoxing' or glutathione IV or any other snake oil; these drugs alter the mitochondrial DNA (not proved 100% but almost certain because of the way they attack bacteria and mitochuondrial DNA being similar (because mitochondria are a type of bacterium.) The sensible homeopathic remedies I've mentioned in the other thread will help, some others may help, but you casn't cure this by anything other than time and.. .. luck? I mean, some poeple recover almost completely, others just get worse or stay the same, some die (not many and very few of your age) but it's not something you can hurry or actively cure. You have to use it as an opportunity to develop your character, knowledge and (one hopes) wisdom!

For the first four years after taking Norflocaxino (Noroxin) I only once slept more than an hour; many nights I didn't sleep at all. Not sleeping won't kill you and eventually, as you're young, you'll probably recover. My sleep and many other things improved after visiting an excellent healer - I asked him to cure the shingles that was one result of FQ nerve damage and he cured a lot of the pain and mental symptoms, too! However, you have to be fortunate enough to find the right healer and there are many charlatans and others who aren't powerful or aren't just right for you.
