Hello there. Could anyone here advice on the dosage on anacardium 30c? I bought this remedy in pellet form. Thank u in advance.

This is just a forum. Assume posts are not from medical professionals.
There is no standard dosage for our medicines. Dosage is decided on based on the individual patient.

Why have you bought it? Was it prescribed for you?

Evocationer 9 years ago
Hey. Thanks for your reply.
I bought it because I'll be sitting for exam a few weeks later. It was introduced by my friend actually. He said it s good for memory. B4 that I was taking kali phos.

Hmm... I wonder where shall I begin? Ok... I'm 22 yo male pursing a dental degree. I'm in my 3rd year now. School normally starts at 8 am and ends at 4 or 5 pm(depends, sometimes earlier). School life is very busy ( very occupied for those who love it). Not only dealing with my studies and exam, I have to deal with my lecturers and my patients. In order to sit for exam, a few requirements are required to be fulfilled. This adds up the stress I'm facing. Some lecturers r just so inhumane. They seem to love watching ppl suffer. They can simply postpone classes and even exams by giving stupid excuse of leaving their pen drives at home. At times, I really feel like smacking on their faces. My lecturers always remind us how incompetent we are. How can we be a good dentist. They make bad remarks on us. All these negativities have contributed to my lack of confident. What I and my friends think is ridiculous is our lecturers expect us to know everything and apply it during the clinical sessions. Yes, I know we r obliged to know everything. But, we have not gain any clinical experience for us to make a good judgement.
I want to prove my capability but it seems impossible to me. It s like building castle in the air. Silly! I'm hardworking (not intend to praise myself but I really am). I do my revision diligently. It just that I can't remember the fact I read and the worst is I tend to forget what I have read in the exam hall. I'm the first candidate to leave the hall most of the time. I'm easily irritated and hot tempered. I know it s bad but I just can't control myself. I also suffer from constipation and loss weight whenever I'm stressed.
It seems like this has become a channel to complain. Hahaha

Actually from homeo point of view this is a small piece information I dont know about your knowledge but it needs a lot of info, but from your writing it seems that you are quite busy,I wont trouble you more and prescribe initially Nux.vomica.30c every day for 3 days at bed time after your dinner take 6 pills dry on tongue. Dont drink coffee.thats all and mean while tell me what made you to choose Anacardium out of the host of remedies in homeo bc the remedy that suited your friend may not necessarily suit you.
God bless you

HOW TO DESCRIBE YOUR COMPLAINTS (Physical Components)

In homoeopathy, prescription is based on precise details of various symptoms from which you suffer. To tell or write to a homoeopathic physician 'I have a headache ', ' an eruption ' or “a cough” would not be enough. If you inform him 'I have headache with sharp shooting pains in the left side of the head and temple, these pains always come on when the slightest cold air strikes the head. I feel better by pressing the head very hard.” Then only you have given all the information required for making a good homoeopathic prescription. The success of the prescription depends; largely on how detailed your description of the symptoms is.
We require the following details about your symptoms.

LOCATION: Please give the exact location of sensation, pain or eruption. Also describe where the pain or sensation spreads.

SENSATION: Express the type of sensation or the pain that you get in your own words however simple or funny it may seem. You may have a sensation that a mouse is crawling or the heart was grasped by an iron hand or you may have a pain that is cutting, burning jerking, pressing. Express the sensation or pain as it feels to you. Try to explain the whole sensation in the exact way it is happening and not just the word. We need to understand the whole process of the sensation as it is happening to you.

WHAT MAKES YOU WORSE OR BETTER:

Many factors are likely to influence your complaint. Some factors may intensify it and some factors may relieve the trouble. A detailed list of the factors is given at the end. Please refer it while describing each of your troubles and indicate which factors make the complaint better or worse.

DISCHARGES: You may have a discharge from nose, ears, mouth, eyes, ulcers, fistula, eruptions on skin, private parts, etc. Please describe your discharge in detail including colour, consistency, appearance, odour etc.

1] Your Complaint:

(Use your own words as far as possible, but if you have recognized or diagnosed the condition, give this information also.) By answering as many of these questions as fully as possible, you are helping me to understand what your body and unconscious mind is conveying. This can help me find a remedy for you.)
• What is your complaint?
• When did the complaint begin?
• Where is it located?
• What sort of sensations (and emotions) do you associate with it?

• Does anything make it better or worse?
• How does it bother you? How is it coming in way of your day-to-day life?
• How does it feel like to have this/these problem/s?
• What is the effect of this/these problem/s on you?
• Did any event happen which caused the complaint? Describe the emotion associated with it.
• What are the other symptoms started with it, esp. mental and physical symptoms, which are not directly related to the main complaint.
• What are your reactions with it?

PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS FOR EACH SYMPTOM/COMPLAINT SEPARATELY. DO NOT INCLUDE ALL OF YOUR COMPLAINTS TOGETHER IN EACH QUESTION.

*These questions are for every complaint you have - not just the main one you are seeking help with*

Hi GJwei,
Pl. copy paste every part of questionneir again to reply and then reply each question so that each question can be related to your answer.
Since the questionneir is quite long it is helpful to have each question above its ans.

Hi Dr.Evocationer and Dr bapu4.
I'm so sorry for my late reply. I'm having my final exam these days. I have answered those questions in your questionnaires.

Complaint 1:
• What is your complaint?

• Does anything make it better or worse?
Better: when exam is over and during holidays
Worse: the night before exam, after getting my results, criticize by lecturers

• How does it bother you? How is it coming in way of your day-to-day life?
-In primary school, i was afraid of being caned by my mum.

-easily irritated, loss of weight, pimples on face, constipation(?), insomnia before exam

• What are your reactions with it?

-- no

11. What difficulties or problems do you have in relationships?
Talk about your family, your romantic relationships, your spouse or partner, your friends, and your work colleagues. You may need to talk about all of these separately.
-- I always have argument with my mum when im at home for more than 2 weeks.(I'm not staying with my parents). We can just argue on some insignificant matters. I have no problem with my dad. He is a quiet man and very much less aggressive than my mum. I'm good with my siblings. I have no problems with my friends. At times, we have conflicts but we kinda good in burying the hatchets. Also, I have no problem with my boyfriend. If we have disputes we can easily patch things up.

-- I brought up in an authoritarian family. What my parents said were definite. My parents, especially my mum were strict. I often whacked by my mum when I was between 6 to 12 years old. To me, the reasons she caned me were ridiculous. I remembered during my primary school, I couldn't get a good grade and that I was caned. Not a stroke, but many strokes. Let say, if I got 76 marks for my exam, then caning will be around 24 stokes, as to compensate the mark I lost during the exam. I was often the victim of my sister lies. My mum believed in what she said. The lied to my mum just to avoid being punished and she would impute her fault to me and at the end I was caned despite explaining to my mum. My mum accused me of lying without even knowing the reasons. She didn't show interest in finding out more. My mum even shouted at me saying that she regretted of giving birth to me. Could u imagine how I felt that time? Caning became less frequent as I grow older. The last I got it was from my mum when I was 16. Thinking back what had happened to me, I think I was physically and psychologically abused.
-- I quarreled with my siblings sometimes. It was just what a kid would do I think. We didn't bear hatred at all. In school, I was very good. I didn't cause trouble at all.

Alright I am working on this case today.

Evocationer 9 years ago
Ok this is how I analysed your case:

Fear of failure in examinations
Anticipation before an exam
Ailments from prolonged anticipation
Ailments from domination, long history of excessive parental control
Ailments from harsh upbringing
Ailments from reprimands/reproaches
Ailments from want of confidence
Confidence, want of, feels himself a failure
Emotions, suppressed
Fastidious
Desire for order
Mania for cleanliness

This would suggest the remedy Carcinosin. I would obtain 1M of this remedy, preferably in liquid form. Let me know when you have it.

Evocationer 9 years ago
Hi Evocationer,
This one seems a very good selection, lets see how he responds.

bapu4 9 years ago
Thank you Bapu, yes I thought it looked good as well.

Actually the other interesting thing is that Anac and Carc can actually appear somewhat similar, so in fact both remedies featured in parts of my analysis.

Evocationer 9 years ago
ya but Anacardium has 'cursing to others,by curisng i Mean 'god gave him a curse' that curse these people literally curse in that authoritarian way like 'I curse you that you will be burnt' like that, off course the totality is more pointing to Carc

bapu4 9 years ago
There is another kind of Anacardium patient, one that allows the 'good' voice to moderate or control their behaviour. They will feel the urge to curse but will never do it. You will see many of these actually, the 'civilized' Anacardium patients, who on the surface will express an inability to harm anyone. Sometimes the violence is so heavily repressed it only comes out in fantasies, hobbies or dreams.

Thanks for yr reply Dr evocationer. I will try to get carsinosin 1M in liquid form and update u once i got it.

bapu4 9 years ago
Hi there. I've gotten the remedy. How should i proceed next? Pls advice.

G.Jwei 9 years ago
1. Hit the bottle 5 times firmly against the palm of the hand.

2. Place 3 drops into 100mls of water

3. Stir thoroughly

4. Take 2 teaspoons into the mouth

5. Hold for 20 seconds and then swallow.

Do this ONCE only, then let me know the results after 7 days.
